Thank God baby is ok. I had an emergency at 29wks rode an ambulance twice and I could not get a hold of my husband it was intense. Still pregnant today 32 wks, praise the Lord !

Bless your heart that was way too much mommy stress for one day. I really think you deserve a do over on your “me time” day. Hoping and praying the days following this were much nicer to you. 💞

Yes Rhm- gam . I had to have those it’s when you and your husband have different blood types . In our case I’m negative blood type my husband is positive. Longer ago like in my moms era they hadn’t figured that out yet and if the babies blood was the different type then the mothers the baby was born blue and died 😢I am so grateful for advances in medical!

I had a similar experience a few months ago, when my nephew left the door open very close to a busy road, and my 16 month went straight out the door and on the road, and I didn't realize it until someone went past and honked, and I knew instantly. I had nightmares for awhile, and still sometimes hold her close and fervently thank the Lord that she's still with me! Made me feel like the worst mom ever, but it just happens.

The summer that our daughter was 1 yr and toddling everywhere had its scary moments. She found the road a couple times too. So thankful for guardian angels and also that it was a passing stage.

No wonder the Bible says it is of the Lord's mercies we are not consumed. My dear Mom used to always pray, "Lord, thank you for protecting us from dangers seen and unseen." She loved the song, "The Unseen Hand." Sometimes we see the evidence of His unseen hand protecting us, other times, we don't even realize what He keeps us from. He is so faithful. Ohhhh my- so sorry about your little girl! Have you thought about putting up a fence, like one with cattle panels and wood supports/frame? They’re super cute and popular by the Amish in Wisconsin. We live on a busy road too- it’s so stressful! You can even get a cattle gate for the end of the driveway. I want to do it now even though my girls are older.

My daughter in law told me our little grandson prays for us, I thought that was sooo special. I love when the dil’s include me in the grandies lives I bet your Neena does too! Glad she was safe by the road.

Ive seen ppl use a retractable driveway guard and that helps when kiddos are running around or even riding bikes so they stop at the end of the driveway. Maybe that might be an option if you have a busy road nearby 😊

My friends toddler died as his mum unloaded the pushchair. They have started a company where you train a child to put their hand on a spot on the car evey time they get out of the car. They use a handprint sticker. Thank God Summer was ok ❤💕🇬🇧

Your house is so cute and charming. It would look adorable with a little country picket fence with a cute gate. And summer would also be safe inside it. I believe in the olden days they just fenced the front yard and they had two gates.

When my daughter was 18 months old I had two stepchildren whom I had to get ready for school every morning. Because I was so busy I would always warn my stepson not to open the front door until I told him. One morning while I was packing the kiddos lunch I heard the bus honking his horn loudly. I quickly rushed to the door which was opened and saw my toddler standing right in front of the bus on the road. It gave me the biggest fright I have ever had and 44 years later I still remember how bad I felt but how grateful that my daughter was safe. I scolded my stepson for disobeying me. It only takes a second and the worst nightmare can become real. I’m so happy that your daughter is safe also.

If I come visit you, I want to go to that Thai restaurant, and the antique store. Also, I want lots of drinks with that beautiful ice in them😆.

Aggrhhh the dreaded glucose test! I took it four times…twice with the drink and twice a ton of jelly beans… I also took the rhogram shot 4 times. It’s a good shot to get.

That was a day for learning who is God and who is not.... So glad everyone is ok. If there are any concerns about the baby's heart rate, you really should not be drinking coffee. Hope you cut it out for a while anyway. You sounded a little hyper at the end. It will only increase anxiety. Great finds thrifting!
