Great video. Request: There's a huge lack of Transatlantic flights here. Dublin is now 5th busiest Transatlantic hub in Europe. How about Dublin-Philadelphia? Or NY, BOS, Washington, SFO, Chicago etc? There all beautiful fights and are only 6 hours if you fly to the east coast. Like this!

Hi Matt Fantastic video! Great fun to watch. With regards to your parking issue at St. Kitts, the set up is as you taxi forward in towards the terminal building, the aircraft nose is swung around hard right so you are angled back out at roughly a 45 degree angle from the building. The yellow arrow you lined up with in the video should be more or less where you stop on stand as you view from the lefthand cockpit window. Taxiing out you follow the line again to the right straight towards the taxiway and then turn to whichever runway you're departing from. There is a similar setup to the stands at London City (EGLC) if you can't find anything for St. Kitts. Hope this helps...and keep the vids coming!!!

Just a quick tip, squawk 1200 in the states is for VFR flights. 2200 is most commonly used when flying on vatsim with no atc online.

Hi Matt, great video as usual. The scenery rendering problem you were talking about probably has to do with your setting of FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION in your p3d config. If I recall correctly you have it set to 0.01, which really means that wou will get higher FPS, but you don't give the CPU any time to load scenery. Try out some different settings until you find something that you're happy with. I have mine set at 0.4 on my machine.

Hey Matt, Did you actually fly the whole flight with COM1 tuned to 123.8 instead of 122.8? Haha anyway, it would be nice to see some short city trips across europe! By the way, I hope you are gonna stream this evening! :) It would be awesome to see a cityrun this eve, with the NGX and real time and weather! Go from Amsterdam with a KLM 738 to Innsbruck (although KLM doesnt actually fly there anymore, otherwise choose Munich or Zurich), then to Geneva, eventually then Paris, or directly to London Heathrow, and then back to Amsterdam! That would just be so amazing, and there is airport ATC all over Europe, Amsterdam ATC is even booked, as well as London Center! Hope you will do that, you have an amazing evening of flying then :) And if you can, record your stream and post it to KZfaq as well, or stream it on both Twitch and KZfaq, it will be auto-saved/uploaded to the Matt Davies channel :) Anyway, I hope we will see a stream tonight! ;)

Very very nice vid. In the beginning you have like a outside"walk-around" the AC. I guess you use EZCA. But what setting do I need in order to walk around it instead of just moving cam view from left to right and up&down. thanks

Not sure about the parking procedure but my interpretation is that you follow the bold taxi-way marking with your nosewheel so that it swings your aircraft round so that it finishes where the kink in the markings is, as this is how you park in Skiathos (which has the same markings). I'm not sure what the dashed markings are but I would guess (having looked at the parking chart) that these are used for larger aircraft should it be needed, or for some other temporary reason. Hope that helps!

Matt, I believe you follow the curved line in to park and line the nose up with the small straight line underneath and perpendicular to the arrow.

Hey Matt, try out AAL1070 SEA-MIA Boeing 737-800, good long 5 and a half hour flight if you want to do that long of a flight in the NGX.

Hey there! I'm very curious as to what you are taught in training on p3d such as instruments and atc. I'm dying to know if anyone could help answer my question.

At KMIA, In this case, should have been takeoff rwy 26L (based on where you're parked) or 27 for more southerly parked planes, on the SKIPS1 Departure. Rwy 30 is only ever used for landing, and the DEEEP1 is only used late night for noise abatement.

Just an random FYI, US airports choose their runways based on weather conditions and noise abatement procedures where available.

Hi Matt, I have a quick suggestion for a flight :3 *KJFK to TJSJ* in a Jet Blue A320/321. JetBlue is probably America's favorite airline (I'm sorry American and Delta... but it's true) and the descent into San Juan, Puerto Rico is gorgeous, especially the water. I also recommend getting Latin VFR's San Juan scenery. It's probably my favorite scenery, and yes... I have a couple dozen sceneries. The flight is about 4 hours in good weather with ~50 knot winds, but it's all worthwhile when you land in Puerto Rico. Hope you consider it!

You probably know this but anytime you cross a runway strobes go on, as soon as you've crossed it they can go off again, not sure about landing lights though.
