Really enjoyed this one, Matt. Was fascinating (and quite hilarious!) to hear how you and Jacob went about simulating a possible failure of the nose gear. Found this video to be very good at doing the emergency and listening to you both go through the simulated event tongue in cheek but also doing the cockpit routines in a professional manner. A tip of the hat to you both!

Absolutely loved this video Matt! I think your best videos are like this when you're having a great time just being you. The shared cockpit (no PC for me) adds something to the whole product as well that really makes it worth watching every minute :) Great job once again!

Got to say, one of your most interesting videos to date, Matt - and the duration was of no consequence (to me, at least). This one had everything ... interaction with VatSim, Airbus (thumbs up), good overview of cockpit flows, those emergencies at the end and, of course, 'yours truly'. I'd intended just watching the first few minutes, to get the flavour of things, but I ended up watching it all straight through. And now the missus is wondering why it's 2am and I'm not in bed yet - ah well. Thanks for the video and all the hard work that must go into producing such a magnum opus.

Hello. Great video Matt and really nice clean graphics both inside and outside. I was the tower controller during their departure and yes, I did hand them off to "Gatwick Dictator". It's my way of injecting a bit of fun to proceedings. I decided long ago I wasn't going to be one of these boring controllers who stick religiously to cap 413. I control and fly on VATSIM for fun, and that's exactly what I do.

Hey Matt, I was just watching the part where you were commenting on the differing N2 values, This is quite realistic. each engine is a bit different. one may have more hours than the other effecting slightly the engines efficiency , the sensors may be picking up different values as irl they are not as perfect as they are when coded for a simulation. These variances are actually a feature of the Aerosoft bus and shows that in some areas it is actually quite in depth :)

You can listen to both Comm 1 and 2 at the same time. Instead of clicking the microphone button for Comm 2 (What you clicked), click the volume dial for Comm 2 and leave Comm 1 as the active microphone radio. I use this feature all the time, so useful!

Hey Matt! Been watching your videos for a while now love the content. Just wanted to let you know about the de-icing fluids, I work at an FBO and we do de-icing for major airlines. Type 1 fluid is de- ice fluid Type 2 is also dei-ice fluid but is less commonly used. Type 4 is an anti-ice fluid that is normally applied post de-icing! Just thought I'd share that with you since I heard some confusion in the video lol. Cheers.

Matt, do the hardest approach at SBRJ RWY 02R. The final is something like toncontin but with a VERY MUCH shorter runway. I recommend a flight from Congonhas (SBSP) with a TAM airlines A319 beause a normal 737-800 can't stop there( just SFP's). thank you!!

Matt when you switch to COM2, press the knob below the "miracle" button you found, it ll allow you to hear COM1 and 2 while only transmitting on COM1 I do this when on my own to avoid disconnecting from whatever ATC channel i m on upon arrival.

matt i know its a small thing but for visual approaches you usually take both FDs out put the bird on and set the runway track you then set the bird underneath the blue stick the bird compensates for wind and set the bird to -3°

Nice vid Matt and a little different :) also i wanted to say i just built my first flight sim pc myself using the same parts that are in your Fusion Stratus ( I basically copied it lol ) but in the cooler master 652 case. To anyone thinking of buying one of Matt's pc's from Chillblast the combo of parts in those pc's are perfect for flight sim real solid performance even when the frame rate goes down in complex scenery. You can actually listen to two vhf channels at a time by pushing the volume button below the mic button you used to switch between vhf1 and vhf2, it just gets messy at times.

When you're moving into your gate at CPH, you've got some utility which is showing big floating numbers for you to now where to stop the aircraft. Which utility is that? Cause I'd like to try it out since the gate signs are unreadable for me in P3D and end up just hitting the breaks on gut feeling randomly.

Jacob could've listened to Com2 via using the dot command with Vpilot to pick ATIS... :) just a thought for next time u do shared cockpit... so he can listen or maybe even transmit and listen on Com2
