Hi CptVince. Thank you for this video. I've been hearing a lot about Envtex+ASCA+Envshade and have been wanting to give it a try. I just built a new gaming machine, so the time is now. I do have one small bit of constructive criticism for you. But towards the end of your video you invite your viewers to post questions they might have in the comments section. While I understand this video is old (6 months), many of your viewers have posted questions and I see no response from you. While this is just my opinion, if you are going to post a "how to" style video and you invite your viewers to leave questions...then you should answer those questions. Or at the very least try to answer them.

I installed envshade into p3d v4.3 but I do not seen the difference and it is not like what you have in the video.

although I have envtex textures only I dont see envtex textures in ASCA wx influence configuration .. what am I doing wrong?

Hello. I know it's been a while since this was released but i still have a question about P3Dv5. Because my GPU and Overall performance is suffering a bit with EA on, i am considering using v5 with EA off (v4 - style you can say). Would you say, in this case, ENVTEX, -SHADE and ASCA are still a good option ? (Also with REX not being compatible yet?) Best regards

Hi, Rex is compatible but I stil highly recommend using that combo. With ReShade Lucas Cavotoni it's in my opinion nice than EA at the moment

Quick question? You use ASCA for cloud textures, should you turn off cloud textures in ENVTEX?

CptVince Hi. Can I ask you? In the beginning of the video you mention how much better ENVTEX’s (sky) textures are. But towards the end it seems that for the clouds, you still prefer to have only ASCA supply cloud textures. Any reason why? Have you discovered that you like the ASCA cloud textures more that ENVTEX’s?

Just learned: Only solution is: install it again, also ENVDir. After that, I had no more problem in Win 7 Ultimate

Nice Video!! However I like others are not showing Envtex textures in the WX Influence tab...could be please explain how you did that? Thank you!!

Enter ENVSHADE and select ASCA folder info then select ENVTEX textures only and apply/install. Then open ASCA and check that ENVTEX profiles are in the Wx Influence Configuration tab.

In Envdir.. I go down to ASCA Integration and select Envtex textures Only...then i click on the window with the calculator and it says saved Then I click on the Home pic and go into Envtex and set up profile like yours and then I click on window with Calculator (they should call it Apply) and then it says saved. I launch ASCA and go into ASCA, set on Full Dynamics..settings and then WX Influence and no envtex textures..just default. Am I missing something? Thanks

Hi small question, if I have ENVSHADE + ENVTEX + ASCA And I also have a PTA, meaning it is automatically canceled? And I do not need the PTA?

i bought envtex and envshade, what a waste, i can't run them together, it was nice to know ahead of time

Envyshade will not start up, it's like it's blocked

Yes but it trys to open and then closes, i turned off all windows defender as well, envdir is the problem, without it not opening, i can't open envshade

the splash screen opens and then the main file does not open, envtex opens fine, just not envshade

theMach3Lounge Hell No. It doesn't look as good as default Xplane 11 sky colours, it simply doesn't need it.

Your video is so confusing! You say how much you like ASCAP, but then you seem to have Envtex selected and you say that Envtex is so much better and suggest to leave all ASCA unticked?? What?!?
