Ok, I am really confused now. Did something happen to Uniek that has not been posted which ended in her death? Someone who understands English, please let me know. Yvonne, I know you are doing the best you can but some of the comments folks leave here do not relate to what you have said and have shown. I am thoroughly confused. I wish these vids had dates in them as that would be helpful. I do very much appreciate what you are doing. Thanks, Yvonne

Yes, Uniek has sadly been put to sleep. She became very poorly on Thursday, was taken to the vet but she had a stomach rupture. So very sad x @elizabethhjenkins6172

Queen Uniek will forever remain in our hearts. She will forever be missed. She kinda saved Risey. She loved him so dearly. It is always too soon, but Yvonne you did the right choice. Now she is in heaven, happy, healthy, with a lot of pellets and with Star and Twinkle Star. She will watch over you. And a part of her is still here. In your heart, but now her foal is here too. And a filly! Her little princess is here with you and her little prince Rising Star too

Uniek is an unforgettable horse, so calm at times when you’d think she’d have followed the others with their excitement and nervousness. She was really a standout❣️Yvonne took the best care of her, along with the rest of her family, friends and other professionals. These videos show all their love and tasks so clearly. ♥️

I was crushed to read about the Queen! How could that be? It will take a while for it to sink,in that Uniek is no longer with us. Yvonne, I am so sorry for you, and our, loss. I truly hope her foal will help fill the gigantic hole in your heart. Will the tragedies ever cease? Surely you are due some good luck. But you must know we will never forget Uniek even though most of us never saw her in person. But your wonderful posts made her come alive in our hearts and what a treasure that you have these videos to look back on someday. Prayers for you and Risey continue. I wish there was something more I could do, but I guess prayers are better than anything else. Dearest Yvonne, take care.

My Grandma always used to say that bad news comes in threes… Well, first, we learned that Risey had wobblers, and all the sadness and worry over his future, but he is doing well. , Then an entire herd of Friesians are leaving for Canada. We must say good bye to all of them , many our personal favorites snce they were foaled. .. and now, Uniek.💔 our hearts are broken .. that makes 3. it is finished, Now we have Hope for better days to come. Risey, Belle, and Blomke, Saly’s foal who we have yet to meet and greet!! and our little Yfke, , and Saly and Coralle; The ponies - little boefkes to make us laugh and keep us entertained. and help our hearts to heal.❤️🩹 My heart goes out to Yvonne and everyone at Stal H and Stal G in Deepest Sympathy and mourning.. 🙏

It is still so hard to believe that our Queen has left us. She leaves shoes that are impossible to fill. Thank God she has left us all, but Yvonne especially, little Belle Alexia. One final gift for us all to love from her great heart. I have been reading about gastroparesis and gastric rupture. Uniek looked the picture of health in these latest videos. There was no hint of the typical symptoms you would have expected to see for a horse suffering from that condition. Her coat was glorious. She didn't look as if she had lost any weight at all. I couldn't help but notice that this video was made on February 15th. That means that Rising Star and Spidey were neutered on Valentines Day. How ironic. I am so looking forward to the upcoming videos of Belle and Blomke. They will help all of our broken hearts begin to mend.

Uniek really was one of a kind. Beautiful, intelligent, a loving mem. It is completely unreal to think that she wont be running across the pasture with her girls or snatch up pellets from Yvonne. Never met her but cant help crying when reading the devastating news. It all happened so unbelievably fast. Feels like yesterday that she was so excited to meet sweet Risey!! Yvonne, you have survived so much over the past couple of years and never gave up and shared it all with us. Thank you for that. Every day you give so many of us a few minutes of hope and laughter. Hope you also feel a little of the love pouring back to you and your beautiful family. Uniek sent Belle to you and was so close to Coralle as well. She will always be there with the two of you. Will always remember the Queen. Uniek is in heaven with her two foals that didn't survive childbirth. Star was still born and Uniek's last pregnancy that was a miscarriage. They both greeted her after she crossed over the rainbow bridge. Glad to be with their mem in heaven. Uniek was beautiful and the best mem to all her living foals and of course her precious adopted Risey. Sending love to Uniek in heaven ❤❤❤

This is where we come to grieve. Am I the only one for whom it is difficult to explain the sadness to my friends? A horse on the other side of the world who I knew via KZfaq is gone, and there is such an emptiness. Healing and peace to all of us, but especially to Yvonne and Rein and those who lived with her and cared for her.

Yvonne shared her story with us daily for years and we laughed and cried and laughed again through the journey of her life. In your last video of her being ridden in the corral you commented on how kind she was, and also how she enjoyed holding her head high. She showed her natural love in adopting Rising Star. Uniek was an exceptionnal mare with her charisma and personnality she could lead a whole herd of youngsters in her wake as well as a whole herd of followers I always remember her dancing when falling in love with Prince Risey. Safe travels to all the mares. I'm happy so many of them went to the same stable. And God bless the farriers who put in the time to perfect their craft and care for the horses! Where would the horses be without them! The Coralle and Little Belle picture is great! And in my heart and mind I see Yvonne and Queen Uniek trotting along moving the young stallions from 1 field to the other. It's one of the most familiar videos I think and probably a favorite among us all. That's the memory I will hold in my heart of Uniek. That, and the happy dance when she was introduced to Risey! Love and good memories!!

Yesterday, visions kept going through my mind of so many scenes of Uniek in the last 3 years since I watched Friesian Horses. I started watching when she adopted Rising Star. It was so inspirational! I recalled yesterday the scene whereby Yvonne took Uniek to the Beach meeting on a ride with hundreds of other horses and other times Yvonne and friends rode to the Beach and rode along the sea. And those rides through the forest were so nice. I was glad that Boss Rein got to ride Uniek through the forest in a recent video. I'm sure he will treasure that memory forever.

I just read the posts and community post on the passing of beautiful Queen Uniek 👑🖤. I'm so so sorry 💔for dear Yvonne 😍 her family 🏡 and all her friends at Stal G and Stal H. Queen Uniek and Rising Star's 🌟first meeting video was what brought me to this channel. To watch a mare adopt another mare's foal just after her own foal died was a true miracle 🌠 Queen Uniek was and is majestic with a heart ❣ as big as her beauty. There is something fascinating about the way events can link together in ways we don’t understand. The loss of Queen Uniek will be felt by all of us for a long time. But I think about how Coralle came in and stepped up as herd boss and Uniek was okay with this. I think about how her final foal was a filly, and she was able to spend over a week with her beautiful daughter and months with the mare that would raise her. It is never not painful to lose an animal that we love, but fate chose Uniek’s time to fall when all the pieces were in place to make her loss less bleak than it could have been. We have an heir to her legacy, and you have my prayers for Belle’s continued good health.

Your comment has made me rethink my resentment a lot in these hours. She's a interstellar spiritual Friesian now, not needing an earthbound body. Remember this: we're basically spiritual beings who take on this physical experience and then let it go and return home one day.

I didn't know if it was okay to comment here about Uniek, but I see others have, and I left this comment also in Facebook: I'm not ashamed to say that seeing Yvonne's post on FB about Uniek made me cry, I'm just brokenhearted about Uniek's suffering and death! I know that Yvonne did the right thing for her, and that this was probably one of the most difficult decisions she has ever made, but the only course that could be taken to relieve her pain. Because of Yvonne's videos at the Friesian-Horses KZfaq channel, we all feel as though Uniek was our horse too, and we have all come to love her! Every time Uniek was in a video, I always thought to myself how stunningly beautiful she is and she was such a fine example of her breed. Uniek, we love you and we will cherish the memories of you that Yvonne has shared with us via her videos and her comments about you and her love for you.

I didn't expect a video today, so I am grateful there is one. Yesterdays news about The Queen was a big blow, and even though she wasn't my horse I cried a lot and woke up with a big headache. It was good to see a day with "business as usual" see the foals run around, see Reina and Sanne being trained. And seeing Spidey and Risey doing fine after their procedure.

I believe she had 5 foals prior to Star, Twinkle Star, Risey and now Belle. One of her daughters, Eefje, can be watched in older videos, one of her sons, Julius, lives with the Royal Family of the Netherlands.

Immer das gleiche." Nur wer schon Verluste erlebt hat, ist froh über Routine und Langweile. Denn es gibt Sicherheit. Das ist meine Ansicht. Ich habe diesen Kommentar schon damals nicht verstanden. Die Einschläge kommen immer unerwartet und man muss erst mal damit klarkommen.

I didn't understand that comment either because I could watch a six hour video of Yvonne and everyone else just going about their day interacting with and taking care of these wonderful horses and I would never be bored. Like you said, there's comfort in the mundane because at least you know all is well. Now that Uniek is gone, all is not well and my heart will be broken seeing daily life without her there. 😔

Of course I love all the horses but Uniek was special. My heart breaks for Yvonne having to say goodbye to her beloved Uniek. She's been through so much in the past couple years and I'm so angry at the universe for taking Uniek from her too. 😢

I had a hard time sleeping last night, and I admit I shed a few tears for the loss of that beautiful lady. I only knew her through your videos, but her dignity, her majesty, truly impacted me. Oh, I am so sorry about Uniek. She was loved by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world. She will be forever remembered as our queen, known for her beauty, grace and kindness. I know how Yvonne is feeling. I had to put a beloved, old mare down in January who had several medical conditions. Even though our hearts hurt, we would not want it otherwise. It is a symbol of how deeply we felt about them, and how much we valued their friendship. Uniek had the best care possible, and knew she was loved. Her legacy will live on in Belle, and in all the videos of her. She was simply the best. 👑

I have no words to express my grief that kind magnificent Queen Uniek is gone so quickly but my grief is nothing that Yvonne is experiencing and my heart goes out to her. I’m grateful Yvonne was able to harvest Uniek’s egg and it was successfully implanted and carried by Coralle. I read some articles last night on gastroparesis and stomach rupture in Friesians and it said Friesians are so stoic that normally they do not even show symptoms until they are past the point where treatment is possible. When you have animals that have hereditary abnormalities like that it can be heartbreaking.

I remember the day you bought her from Rein at Stal G, you were so happy. Then, the miracle of Rising Star being with his new mom, Uniek. What an amazing day that was at Stal G. I'm so grateful and happy that you decided to impregnate Uniek and then transfer her to Corrella. It being a filly is so wonderful, i can see you doing competitions with her like you did with Uniek. Sending continued prayers for good health for Risey, Glendy. My prayers are with Yvonne, Stal H, Stal G, and all of the herd followers. R.I.P. Queen Uniek. I’m watching and crying. I had no idea Uniek was so important to me. Most of the horses I started watching are gone now. They’re just horses, right? Would someone please fill me in on everything with Yvonne and Corelle, Queen Uniek, Saly and Belle. I've read so many posts an I'm completely crazy reading all. I would like to know what in the world is going on with Yvonne and all her babies, young N old. Last I read Uniek was ok now I read she's passed then I see photo of Corelle and Belle, then I read that Belle also is gone. And Saly and her foal whats up everyone, my heart is in dispair

Coralle gave birth to Belle about a week ago. There were some complications, specifics unknown at this time, when she came, but Belle's been fine as far as we know since then with Coralle being a wonderful mother. Saly also had her foal, Blomke, at some point. Yvonne gave the announcement in the channel's Community tab, so I would go read that in full about the following sad news: Uniek looked to be in pain on the 4th even after vet care and was taken to a horse clinic. Her condition deteriorated over the night and an ultrasound revealed her stomach had ruptured. There is really no chance of recovery for a horse at that point, which is why Yvonne agreed with the clinic to put Uniek down.

@@Random_Kelsey OH my gosh, my heart grieves along with Yvonne and all of the others that have followed Yvonne and her babies. So sad. Heartbreaking for Yvonne without a doubt. I would have read this info in the Community page but I have no idea where to find it. Thank you so much for the info. I'm trying to wrap all this around in my head wondering how did the Queens stomach rupture. 😩 Thank you again for the info!!

@@pearlinerich97 All you have to do to find the Community tab is click on the channel name from a video or your subscriptions. The tabs are underneath the main info box.

whenever i watch a video i have the habit to read the first 5 comments. uniek is dead? that can not be true. it must be a mistake. then i read the community section of this channel .. im so so sorry yvonne. 😞 run free in the land of ever green, sweet uniek.

After reading the post about our Queen Uniek, I went back and watched the creation of our miracle filly Belle. My heart is heavy for Yvonne, her family, everyone at Stal G, and the herd over this tremendous loss. I pray comfort and peace over Yvonne as she learns to walk this path without her beloved heart horse, Uniek. Yvonne, may you take joy in knowing that Queen Uniek is smiling down on you today and thanking you for not allowing her to live in pain. You made the hardest decision ever. Letting go of someone we love is never easy. Thank you for sharing your life with us herdies. ❤
