thank you sooo much, I have outlined my novel that I’m going to be writing and I know character basics but I feel like I haven’t done enough. Thankfully I’ve been feeling the writing juices recently I have an entire series of novel ideas (it’s a series of fractured fairytales and retellings, all in this one fantasy world) and I’ve been trying to read a bunch of books to get in the mood in a way idk, thank you so much love you, hope you have a great preptober

Also the Zettelkasten (a german word) method is actually translated into note Box method :) [You would pronounce it something like 'Tsetelkastn']

ooh this was so interesting to watch. I love hearing about project o in this video and in your podcast! It sounds like such a heartfelt story and I feel I would relate to it a lot with how I am a writer and I want to publish a book one day. I think I would also relate because I love orcestra/classical music because I feel it really is such emotional music that is so beautiful to listen to. Thank you so much for your videos! They really inspire me to keep writing. I've been in a bit of a writing slump but I'm hoping to be able to nanowrimo as well!

The description of a chapter before the said chapter I believed is from plays or poems, like the Iliad and Shakespeare, that is where I saw them before. Love your videos btw, they always keep me inspired and motivated, it’s nice to feel like you’re being creative with someone 💗

I love your videos ana! thank you for inspiring me so much, i have finally found the novel i want to write! i didnt realise how easy it would be if you add some things you've dealt with onto the main character, it makes me love it so much! i know this isnt related to the video but like you said, adding your own trauma on your characters. i dont really have trauma but i struggle with something so i gave that to my character but more exaggerated if yk what i mean. anyways, love your videos and i wanna read ur books one day!!!

Thank you so much for this Ana- your videos always relax and inspire. I haven’t really written since camp nano this year, back in July, and I’m really hoping to get back into it with the official nano. I’m excited but terrified bc I’ll be working on a project that’s been in my head for literally four years. . I don’t know if I’ll do it justice. It’s also the first in a series, which is scary in of itself, bc I’ve only ever written stand-alone novels. This should be interesting. Wow!!! It's amazing how we all write the same genre and belong to the same age group ( I'm 12). I always used to think that it's weird to write romance at such a young age but now I feel confident knowing that I am not the only one who writes in this genre. I'm a fantasy and romance writer. For nanowrimo, I'm writing this fantasy romance novel which is based about elemental powers and about a girl Delenay who struggles to control her fire powers and she eventually falls in love with Alexander which is later revealed was just a part of her imagination. Yes , he ain't real. I seriously want feedbacks and honest criticisms from my writer friends out there. So if you do have any tips, tricks, criticism or feedbacks please do share.

hey ana! I have a dilemma... and I thought I would ask you because all your advice on writing gives me so much help. please don't feel pressured or anything I just need some opinions 😅 so I've already started the book and I'm over 30 pages into it and it's in third person... but i want to change it to first person 😭 but I don't know if I should go through every single "he" "she" "they" etc. bc I feel like that's so much time and I also don't know if I should start over... but I don't want to do that either because of the amount of work I've already put into writing. I just don't know what to do 😭 people in the comments, please feel free to give me some advice as well because this is killing meeeee

I feel like your premise lacks like if you can’t describe it easily and quickly it’s not strong enough. There has to be a hero with a goal and conflict. I still don’t really understand what project is about - the theme doesn’t really matter if there isn’t a plot
