GODFATHER OF WELDING !!! Nowhere in the whole internet you can see such clean and truly beautiful weldings as Matt‘s ones. A rollcage done by you really is a piece of art! Blimey, Matt... You got very lucky with that shell! I've never seen one in such rust free condition! Mind you, when I was playing with minis in the late '80s and early '90s, they were all £200 or £300 bangers that I drove until they failed an MOT.... They were rustier 30 years ago than yours is now.

i have watched a lot of mini builds in my time and i have to say i have never seen one to this standard. the detail in the reinforcing and the cage is 2nd to none. when you opened the tin of paint i did wimper a bit but it is absolutely stunning. i really hope there is more to come on this. Love it.

I missed many videos of the Cooper Mini build from my previous phone dieing and lost all my subscriptions on KZfaq after finding out I could not retrieve them all. Matt, really great run through of building your racing mini. Your standard of work is top class ! You’ve built what must be the stiffest, strongest mini I’ve ever seen - effectively a space frame chassis with the bare minimum of Mini panels stretched around it. Absolutely top class. Can’t wait to see how it performs !
