Meal planning, preparing and packing food in a caravan for a long holiday is much easier if you prepare in advance. Here is how I do it.

Tanya !! I love your videos but I'm gonna go against the grain here, what a absoloute faff on !! For me that's just extra stress !! We go away to chill out not spend hours beforehand prepping every single meal ! We enjoy long walks and pub snacks, we only ever take our first night meal from then on in we'll pop to the local shops and get what we need, but that all said if prepping and organizing like your holiday is a military operation( speaking from experience as a ex armed forces survival instructor) then you do it ! It's your hols and what makes you happy and it's not for me or anyone else to judge, but for me it's a no lol xxì

It definitely works for me. I love to cook when I’m away and this makes the holiday less stressful. It’s a practical solution for us as popping into grocery shops when you’ve got dogs isn’t happening and I love to know we have good food we will enjoy when we are away. I know a lot of people don’t like cooking on holiday and a lot like to eat out but I get very tired of the sad, limp offerings for vegetarians. This keeps us happy 😊

Ha ha you can tell you've never been a single working parent with pets....Tanya I'm with you....organisation is the key because you have to be!! Can't just "wing it " and please yourself...too many things to consider....

@@jbrislen1 sadly your wrong I was a single parent and know to well how difficult it can be, please don't take my comment as a judgement on Tanya or anyone who has to or enjoys taking these preparation measures, as I said it's purely my personal opinion and certainly wasn't meant to cause any offence to anyone and if it has I absolutely apologise 😉

As you said all to our own....however you commented so I did too. Absolutely no offence on any part I'm sure. When I was widowed with my children aged 5 and 8 and with full time work I found the need to be super organised and that's what worked for me. I envied the freedom of others at times! No offence meant also....interestingly my "kids" are now 20 and 23 this year and obviously no longer travel with us...but...I'm still super organised 🤣

@@jbrislen1 you are a absoloute star !! You needent (is that even a word ? 😂😂) have to explain your situation, trouble with social media is everyone thinks they know everyone's circumstances, which obviously they don't, constructive criticism and debate like yours is always welcomed and taken onboard, if only more people could be like you on social media could be like you I'm sure it would be a happier place to share our thoughts 👍😉
