This video demonstrates how we feed our 5 English Bulldogs a raw based diet. All our dogs have been raw fed their entire lives.
They eat a base of chicken with veggies and liver, with other meats given such as turkey, beef, pork, fish, etc...
Dog Names:
Small white = Indi
Small Brown = Ozzie
Large Brindle = Kona
Large Black and white = Lua
Large Merle Boy = Warrior

I'm very interested in learning about raw but seems like they are only getting meat. Should there be any more that goes into their diet

I just gave a whole drumstick to two 8 month olds, one broke the bones like it was nothing but his brother really struggled to even pull out the flesh. I think it depends how they were raised, since I always played tug of war with mine since he was a puppy and always gave huge beef bones so he could play around and develop his jaw and teeth while the other one was raised with gourmet kibble and wet food.

Yes, that will happen at first, they will need to learn some tricks to eat the raw chicken easier. after a while they will learn to use their paw to hold down the drumstick while they eat it.

Hey buddy nice dogs! I use to breed EB. Just to give u a heads up. I’m sure u might know this but…. They are going to have bad teeth feeding them on the concrete due to the underbite.

Your pups are so freaken adorable. Thank you for sharing your videos. Very helpful. I have a 11 mth pug and I just switched her to raw a couple months ago. I have only made ground up patties so far but want to try whole foods. I noticed you are feeding your pups outside. This maybe a silly question. Any concerns with leftover bacteria on the concrete or on their paws?

They usually lick everything clean. I also clean up their eating area once they're done. You can always rinse paws and wipe their faces once they finish eating, if they go inside your home.

It's a bulldog thing, they eat soooo fast. Even if separated in a room by themselves they eat as if it's a competition. I believe bulldogs spend 99% of their day thinking about food lol. I'm about to start a series narrating our bulldogs thoughts in the near future.

How do you train them to stay without eating until you tell them ok?

You must physically hold them back and put food in front of them on the floor. Then remove your hand and give the command at the same time. After a few days your dog will learn to wait for the command without having to hold them back.

@@eduardobajonero2349 The bowls I use have a rubber lining on the bottom which helps with them pushing the bowl around. You can also put the bowl on a carpet or against a wall corner which would help it from moving everywhere. I usually have to hunt down the bowls by the time they're done licking them and moving them across the yard lol.

How come some bulldogs are very lean/thin and some are chunky? Is it different genetics/blood lines or just diet? Looks like you have both kind. Thank you

Yup, some of my dogs were fed raw while still drinking milk from the mom.. In a natural environment, a female dog would bring raw meat for her weaning pups to begin eating.

Just hold them back and release them once you give your command. Over time they will learn to wait until they hear your command to eat.

I just started feeding my dog raw food based on a chart i found and it says the 80% of meat they need can only be fed 2-3 times a week along 10% bone, 5% excreting organ, 5% liver. (Liver as well 3 times a week) i feed him brain, heart, testicle, liver ground beef with pureed carrots broccoli and spinach and a chicken leg. In the afternoon i feed him 2 chicken legs and a 7oz ball of the ground beef. Now where i am really confused and where my question comes in is what do i feed my dog the other 4 days out of the week Because i fed him what he needed the first 3 days of the week? (Hes 50lbs i also weigh out all his raw meat and i need to feed 10oz in morning and afternoon which comes out to being a little more than a pound a day and i need to meet his daily requirements which is food intake for his size) i definitley feel like im not balancing something right any tips would really me out please and thanks

I feed my dogs raw 7 days a week. Your doing a great job with the variety you're providing your pup and he will benefit greatly from it. I'm guessing the 2-3 days a week is only if you're not feeding 100% raw and also feeding other meals such as kibble / table scraps etc... One other thing you can add to your dogs diet, that i found to benefit their digestion a lot is some cooked potato or the juice from raw potato if you can extract it. Besides that, as long as your dog get's the 80% meat with bone and 10% veggie/organ mix you're on track to have a physically and mentally healthy pup. over time you will learn your dogs needs by watching their weight, energy levels, and what food excites them most.

One quick question. When you and if you give your dogs ground beef do you wash your meat? I was asking because i buy organic and it’s full of blood lol

That's optional, all though there are some precautions some folks take such as Washing or freezing before feeding. I personally give a quick rinse, but the dogs love the blood lol and blood itself can be beneficial for your pup.

Thanks, a lot is due to a high protein diet, walks and being outdoors in the daytime in a pack, with a fair sized running area.

Just hold them back and release them when you give the command. After a few days they catch on to wait until you give the command. I don't have an exact video on this yet, but will work on one in the near future.

Its pretty easy, first you make they sit still until you put the bowl down, after that you train them to only start after the command.

At 7 months old, since they're still growing, 2 meals a day would be better. Once they're full grown, one large meal per day will be sufficient.

how much gas do your dogs pass, i have a 6 year old olde english bulldog 60lbs, and he lets out some gnarly farts everyday, clears the room all the time, and tips or suggestions to help with that

LOL, bulldogs have got some of the smelliest farts and burps. The best is to blame the smell on other people. Usually a raw diet does help with the amount of gas that is passed compared to kibble. But I think the farts and burps are here to stay with bulldogs.

Wow those are the healthiest looking English bulldogs I have ever seen. How do you keep them so fit, do they have any health problems, can they do long distance walks ?

Thank you! A lot of their physique is due to diet, a full raw diet has really kept them lean and healthy. I have no health problems. I also walk them daily, and they hang out outdoors in the day which allows them to exercise all day, then sleep indoors at night. I take them jogging with me 3 miles, and they can still outpace me.

@@WarriorBulldogs wow remarkable I want a bulldog too but I have read about them and their problems and I was like nuh I don't want that. Of course an alternative would be an old English bulldog but I feel its not the same. Anyway this video kinda gave me hope for this breed (not all of it just the healthy ones).
