Thank you Sister Christine for another uplifting video. I am over halfway thru the Rees Howells book which I am reading because of your recommendation a couple of weeks ago. I am pleasantly surprised as I was expecting a dry and dreary read from a book about events over a hundred years ago. It's a good read and I have to admit that I am somewhat jealous of Rees's close relationship with God and the clear direction he is given. The parallel between Rees and Abraham regarding their son is stark and this would challenge the most devout of Christian believer. We must put our faith in God as these tasks are sent to test us and with many difficult days ahead that will surely be so. Thank you for the recommendation.

Despite all the clear prophecies, Israel did not recognize their long-awaited Messiah at His first coming. Jesus was resurrected to sit upon the throne of David (Acts 2:30-36).Since the Kingdom was "not of this world" (John 18:36), it follows the "throne of David" was not to be "of this world" either--but rather a spiritual kingdom of which there would be "no end" (Luke 1:32,33). Nobody from the family line of David would ever reign from the earthly city of Jerusalem because of the curse Jeconiah (Jer. 22:28-30). You might well call these horrendous days Israel finds itself in “Jacob’s trouble”. But Jesus certainly didn’t. Neither did He refer to their trials as the beginning of birth pains. He speaks of a great tribulation … terrible things that would come upon the *whole earth* as a sign that the end was near. Nowhere does the bible mention a 7 year period tribulation, nor does it say that the Jewish people specifically would have to go through it before the second coming of Jesus. There are two things that the Lord warns of in Matthew 24; one is the destruction of the temple, the other the abomination of desolation that the prophet Daniel had foretold. The writers of the gospel of course had no choice but bring them together within a very short time frame, since both events were still lying in the future from their perspective. Unfortunately you are doing the same, even though in retrospect you should remember that the first of Jesus’ predictions was fulfilled in 70 a.D. So you expect a third temple to be built including animal sacrifices installed? Even if that were to happen [which I don’t think so; we are much too close to the appearing of our Lord], it couldn’t be the Holy Place that Daniel 9:25-27 speaks of. Lord Jesus, being the perfect Sacrifice Himself, would never enter a temple where animals were being offered to God. There is no need for another temple; and the antichrist did not set himself up in the sanctuary that is described in Daniel’s prophecy. To see him sign a peace agreement with whomever is pure fantasy, since he is a *spiritual* entity doing his destructive work within the church. You are confusing the antichrist with the beast.
