I'm not sure what the first video of yours was that I watched, but one of the very first was you and Luke planting out Luke's little garden. You were helping Luke learn how to transplant tomatoes and peppers. You told him to pinch off the lower leaves on the tomatoes and Luke started tearing them off and you told him to pinch using his finger nails. There was one point that you forgot to tell Luke to put the fertilizer in the hole before putting the plant in and Luke corrected you. I loved that. In light of that, I would like to see Luke plant his garden. Whatever he wants. That would warm this grandmom's heart.

How about blackeyed peas? When my daughter was a little thing, she wouldn't eat much in the way of vegetables until I had her help me plant a bed of blackeyed peas. She anxiously awaited the harvest and has been eating blackeyed peas ever since. Looking forward to seeing your completed garden, especially that fabulous gate!

Tomatoes, hot peppers, summer and winter squash, potatoes for Luke, flowers (for y’all and the bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds), salad fixings, onions, etc... will you leave your asparagus where it is now or move it to inside the garden? Missed the caption you had on Brody with the tiniest excavator, then I saw he went shirtless afterwards. I remember how you had said in previous videos how he is always shirtless. .....Looking great Blake! You seem to have really gotten even more comfortable in front of the camera. It’s a good thing. Keep on but pace yourself. ✌🏼💗
@daddykirbs
@daddykirbs 2 жыл бұрын
for now, yes I'll leave the Asparagus where it is. I may move it in the future. We'll see how the layout happens. Mamakirbs is kinda planning how she wants it laid out. She has been displeased with our garden for some time now. I'm ready to see her smile when she looks out there. ... and yes, Brody spends a lot of time outside of his shirts.

It's exciting to see the progress of your garden! I've watched you rearrange it over the years, but this should be a game changer. Have you considered artichokes? They might even be perennial in your climate. And of course, I'll be jealous of all your tomatoes...

Looking good so far, ecited to see the finished fence AND the garden! I hope you continue to grow unusual things (like he experiments you used to do) but mainly growing lots of veg that your family loves in these crazy times. I try Malabar spinach the first time in containers in Germany this year. Did you grow it b4? A heat resistent vining spinach from India! God bless yall!!

i’m about to buy the supplies to start home brewing kombucha but i wanted to know your thoughts on continuous brewing vs batch brewing first. i found a 5 gal continuous brewer and it seems nice but it would be so much kombucha i don’t know if i could keep up with the bottling and the acidity especially since i wanted to try jun and kefir water as well.
