Hey! thanks for the great music. I often find myself repeating insanely distracting songs in my head when im trying to focus, which makes me a terrible writer. Today i sat down and just fullscreened a doc, hid as much ui as i possibly could, and just wrote. i didnt even know what i was doing at the start, but i finally could just write, like ever. Dear Mother It has been only two weeks since my last letter. I hope everything is going well back home. Has Henry finally started his apprenticeship yet? How is Da doing with his broken leg? How is Lily? I have some exiting news: Master Caelum, one of my instructors I wrote to you about, has asked me to accompany him on an expedition! As of writing this, we are only two days from departure. the last few bits of supplies are being assembled and the last few recruits are here. It'll be a hodge-podge of a group; soldiers, scholars, guides and mages like me. We are heading north to an Old Dominion ruin that might hold artifacts or records from the olden days. Master Caelum is adamant that if there are any relics of arcana hidden away there, it could be vital to his research and to the Citadel as a whole. I will spare you the details there. More on that later. If you're wondering about the soldiers I mentioned, there are rumors from up north of bandits on the trade roads on our route. Don't worry, Mother, with a big and well-armed party like ours, none but the biggest bandit gangs would dream of challenging us. And, yes, I promise to be careful. Unfortunately, it might be some time before I can send or receive another letter. I promise I will send one as soon as I get back to the Citadel. I love you all and I miss you all more Love, Lyra

I like to think these videos will slowly become a overall story. We've already seen it sort if. She arrived in the city and had food in a tavern, studied in the ancient library, attended a festival. Then we saw an old temple on an island. Maybe in a future video we'll see the same temple or landscape. It's exciting!
