Omg you have SO many clothes! I’m at 35 weeks now and I may have like 25 outfits for my baby and they’re spaced out from 0-6 months. My friends who have had kids before me said not to get too many clothes because the baby will outgrow them quickly and all of my friends have complained that there were stuff that never got worn . Hahahha

I’m just now coming across your video and I’ll be 8 months tomorrow or for lack of better term 32 weeks. You never realize how much baby clothes you have until it’s time to wash them.

If you did want to try a baby detergent that's similar to dreft there is Purex baby, I got a 50 load bottle from Walmart for only $3 and it works just the same ☺️

I just got a huge haul of baby boy clothes from a friend of mine who just had a baby. And I’m due in January. She’s passing all the unworn and out grown outfits to me. Plus my own shopping haul and my baby shower haul. I’m still washing clothes. I just bought plastic dressers to put all his clothes in. I’m not using any special detergent though. Just straight gain. My husband and I do not want him to have a reaction to our laundry soap when we switch him over so we’re starting him out on it. My friends and sister did the same and all their kids were fine. I don’t believe in using baby detergent.

I am 37 weeks and 2 days today, I am suppose to be due April 3rd. I am a first time mom, my mom helped me yesterday organize a few of my babies clothes. The ones we organized, I need to take the tags off and wash them. I am going to start washing the ones we organized first which are the new born stuff and 0 to 6 months first. I have more clothes for baby in my garage from my famiky babyshower. But I will get to that stuff after 🤣😂

Kind of wish I'd have waited to wash till after my baby shower. But then again baby shower is a week before my due date so better safe then sorry 🤰🤷‍♀️

It was all gifted so of course, she is not going to tell them, stop giving me clothes. Plus I'm sure they are not the same size.

There are lots of chemicals and dyes in new clothes that may irritate baby skin.

To many chemicals they put on the clothes to keep them smelling new and looking fresh. I had my baby clothes for 9 months and it still smell new in a box haven't been worn yet

Elizabeth Gutierrez Because when clothes are shipped in a box to be delivered in stores to sell, they usually have an unusual smell. And what other people said, the clothes have chemicals and dyes which could cause irritation on the skin.
