I really enjoyed this episode Dave. That mechanical log splitter was amazing and your whole log cabin set-up is my idea of bliss. keep working toward that dream and it will come true my friend :)

you mention a problem with the kerrick property as being part bog area, and i think bald cypress, one of my favorite trees to grow. one big one right now, and cuttings from it doing beautifully.

I highly recommend the solid wheelbarrow wheels from Harbor Freight. Fairly cheap, reliable, and never go flat. Also, you know the existing infrastructure, driveway and clearing you can immediately plant in, makes the price worth it. You'd spend more doing it yourself.
