_Daaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmn_ That is one _immense_ and _gorgeous_ Optimus Prime. When you hauled out the trailer I first thought it must be some kind of VFX work because it was _so damn big._ I will never accept why they felt the need to make so many unnecessary changes to the Transformers' character designs for the Bay movies; it made them all look overly-complicated, too busy, and simultaneously visually complex yet uninteresting. They all ended up with a samey-ness and visual monotony that made them look far too similar to each other. So much so that during any scene of fighting between Transformers characters they all just devolve into a mess of indistinct grey masses of exposed gears and mechanical bits that all blur into each other, making it _extremely_ hard to distinguish one character from another, what is going on, or even where one Transformer ends and another begins. The classic, original animation character designs are all so visually distinct, with each character having their own instantly recognizable silhouette, color scheme, and overall shape so that anyone can tell who is who with a split second glance. The decision to try to make them "more realistic" for the live action movies didn't actually make them any _more "real,"_ it only made them look _more complicated,_ which is not at all the same thing. And I will _never_ accept Optimus Prime _with a mouth..._ it just looks _gross_ and _creepy._
