@@FadiGamingRP Yes. And the danger in that is it causes people to become disillusioned and distrusting of weather forecasting, which leads to apathy. Then when there is a true threat of catastrophe, they tune out. It also causes unnecessary anxiety and mental fatigue, which leads to hopelessness. What I have not heard these weather wizards talk about is how these storms produce much needed rain for midwest farmlands and reservoirs.

@@HeatherRose2023 yea, I noticed they brought up a dam that needed to be repaired and with this storm coming it might be a good excuse to open the flood gates....the thing about it is, we don't know what will happen until it does happen.

@@user-pu1ul1hj5k Wrong. There is another problem equally as bad as not taking a storm seriously. That problem is panic. Research Hurricane Rita to find out why. What we need is rational, reasonable reporting that neither hypes nor dismisses the truth.
