Honestly with all the air to space and ground to space weaponry, advanced energy weapons, experimental fighters, flying fortresses, self-aware AI, and various other superweapons literally just lying around. I always wondered how Strangereal would handle an alien invasion.

I started playing at Ace Combat X lmao. Regional conflict as dock to the franchise sure did help though, wasn't confused, enjoyed it a lot too. And I was 4-6 years old so it definitely helped

That last part right there is why Phoenix is the most OP Ace Combat protagonist. The rebellion's victory was a complete success. They had them right there and Twinkle Islands was the only thing left to conquer. Then the legendary mercenary's services were hired, leading to a continent-wide display of power, wiping out enemy ace squadrons, entire armies, destroying the strongest iterations of the ADF-01 FALKEN, blowing up two of the Ulysseys countermeasure weapons and winning his second war.

Well done and if you're wo6who finished the satellite laser system it's actually Osean Federation and the Union of Yuktobanian Republics by using the Arkbird. Otherwise what they could have done in the 80s was actually license Belkan Excalibur laser then pointed towards the asteroid or actually get a project with federal republic of Estovakia by constructing a 2nd chandelier real gun off North Point. Note in Ace combat 4 & 7 that second Chandelier railgun would have been useful against Erusean Military and in 2nd Usean Continental War Arsenal bird required Royal North Point air force Mobius Squadron to carry targeting pods for the Chandelier railgun North Point version but in 1999 Mobius Squadron aerial observation using U-2 or SR-71 Blackbird aircraft actually Point towards asteroid

Makes you wonder why Rail guns aren't considered more of a usable weapon. The idea of a hybrid launcher makes a decent amount of sense. Sacrificing destructive potential for stability seems like a no brainer. I know that Rail Guns require a huge amount of power but I feel like they could have worked past that by now had they considered a less powerful more stable launcher

There isn't really much of a point for doing that in real life though, as they are much more expensive than regular guns for very little benefit aside from a higher upper limit on the initial muzzle velocity.

The war between yuktobania and osea in 2010 was only 5 months long, with only a dozen strategic battles. The conflict was engineered by belkan nationalists who had corrupted officials and officers on both sides of the yuke-osean conflict. What's really interesting is that most of the battles were strategic strikes done by the four wings of sand island, wardog squadron, that eventually became known as razgriz squadron. This was significant because it allowed President Harling to secure his supremacy in Usea to build the space elevator which eventually provoked more conflict in usea.

I thought about that after posting my first two videos but I realized why. My first Ace Combat game I played was AC5 back in 2004 and loved it. No verbal mention to Usea besides Operation Katina but I barely played it back then. The second game I played was AC Zero and during the intro cutscene I heard how the nation Ustio was pronounced (it starts with an Oo sound). A few years later in 2008 I finally got to playing AC04 and when I read the name Usea I pronounced it similarly to how Ustio is pronounced cause both those names begins with u and s. And it just stuck.

There is a newer and better way of pronouncing it now💁🏽‍♂️ When you say Usea, you -(A)-sia Almost like you say Asia
