Thanks for all you do for us tech James. You’ve allowed me to enjoy gaming on the go again. It’s hard now that I have a newborn at home and this helps to play on the go with your psp and vita vids

Short Verison; Just so you guys know the old infinity firmware and CIPL works just fine. This added the Europe PSP-E street and fixed some minor stability issues (which literally no one will notice) on the PSP GO

I noticed TONS of stability issues with my PSP Go. Corrupted game files, inability to launch any unsigned apps, no VSH or recovery menu, and my clock was stuck. Didn't have any of these problems on 6.20.

I believe you have the wrong link for the chronoswitch downgrader, or they may have changed the file. I got a corrupt icon for it on my psp, and when I downloaded it from somewhere else it was fine.

at 6:23 when i press start the psp say the same version of the system softwere is already installed. there is no need to update when i checked system software : version 6.61 infinity logo still right there what should i do to remove infinity logo

The answer is no. This just fixes very minor issues with the go and adds the e-street uk version

I wouldnt want to update my psp from ofw 6.60 to 6.61 because i dont want to lose most of my collection of custom animated theme...they are awesome

See if you want to have your 6.60 theme on 6.61 you just need the CTFtool application on pc. There are probably tutorials on how to get it down

Can somebody explain to me whats the point of reinstalling infinity from 1.0 to 2.0? Correct me if im wrong, but the basic idea is to fix the CFW making it persistent, right? And as what i've heard 2.0 installing is being called less risky, than og 1.0 in terms of bricking the handheld and thats the difference. But as for the ending result it is all about making your CFW wheter its PRO or LME persistent. Its not like inf 2.0 is working with more new versions of CFW or something, they're all the same. So once again, whats the point? Or maybe i ve just missed it?

Infinity and LME are not for a Phat. LME is the best. That why there's no YOTI mod LME lol.

Never copy the CIPL to your game folder unless you know your model can use it. That would defeat the purpose of the Infinity project. Accidently clicking on it could write to your IPL bricking your device. These PSP"s are the TA088v3, and the obvious 03g, 04g, 05g, 07g, 09g , and 11g . The CIPL blocker to prevent bricking on these devices may not properly recognize a PSP 07g , since it was not tested and it shows a lot of unknown in PSPIDENT 7.5 and every release disregarding if it has EEPROM access ( reading and writing to the battery ) . Just a warning to those who don't no.

@@bettytamburo2167 yea I deleted the CIPL after hacking my psp go. Sometimes you find yourself navigating too fast and clicking on the wrong game. I didn't want that to be the case with the CIPL and bricking my psp go by mistake.

@@bettytamburo2167 I have a vita. Not sure if CIPL has anything to do with that. Have you ever downloaded from the psp psn. I saw the Spyro trilogy on it and am not sure if I can really download it. Its the psn from using "adrenaline"ity.

No. Proc works just fine. This just fixed some minor issues with the go and added the street

I'm picking up a modded psp on Friday and want to reset it to factory as it looks like half the roms don't boot and I want to do a fresh mod. Can I just factory reset the psp and it will then be back to vanilla 6.61? Ready for me to mod

It depends on how it was modded. If it is soft modded yes, if it is hard modded the cfw will still be there after a format. Depending on what version it's on there may be imcompatibilites. Also note even if it's on a newer permanent fw not all emulator games work.

@@eatingasmrwithhay7246 you should be fine either way. If it is soft modded it should have fast recovery. What does it say under system version? Also which of the five models are you buying?

I got my PSP go on 6.61 Pro-C infinity. Is this better and can anyone tell me why the pause/resume game feature crashes whenever I try to use it? I already shut off some stuff that I read on reddit thst needed to be off.

Go to psp setting and change usb connect to NOT CHARGE mode when connected to a PC. If it's set to charge sometimes it has problems with any computer recognising it.

i only get a black screen after downgrading it then my psp shuts off and i have to manually turn it on with the power switch. then i turn it on and it still runs infinity. can someone help me fix this?

Yes if you're interested in running custom firmware to play countless games. If you follow this guide there's one step you need to do in reverse of his suggestion to get the system downgrade to install. If you run into the problem I had to get it installed, hit me up and I'll tell you the simple solution. Happy hacking mate!!

Verison Corto; Solo para que sepan que el antiguo firmware infinito y CIPL funcionan bien. Esto agregó la calle Europa PSP-E y solucionó algunos problemas menores de estabilidad (que literalmente nadie notará) en el PSP GO

@@the_fluffinator exactly, this guy is talking out his ass. Edit: apperantly lme has support for dax format isos and a plugin which no one really cares about + vsh colors and more old options. So literally same shit. PRO looks more organized and everything works on it you're right. Apologies for the name calling but my dude, actually list the diffrences in the future instead of leaving it open ended like that (aka why)
