Next time use less sealant on the pan. All the access material inside may come loose and can clog up the oil pickup. Also parts of it may run trough the oil system.

Cheers for the advice, I did think i put a bit much and thought I might run into issues, but I wanted to make sure there were no leaks as the pan wasn't perfectly straight anymore. I'll keep an eye on it as time goes by👍

@@the_mintiest_micra as a rule of thumb All acces material you can see on the outside will also hang inside the pan. Less is more 👍 Also its better to have a leak then a compromised oiling system 😁 Keep up nice content ;)

Here from the speeduino. I'm a Volvo guy myself but turbo swapping something you are going to want to run some sort of reducer for your turbo oil speed. You don't want a oil high flow going to your turbo.

Cheers for the input. As of now, I've got a proper braided oil feed line that reduces the flow to the turbo. Video on that will be out soon.👍

to high oil pressure in the turbo? does that make the turbo, leak oil into either intake or exhaust side of the turbo?

@@cskalle1213 it's something to do with ball bearing turbos. Look up turbo oil feed restrictors

Mild concern - isn’t the turbo oil inlet supposed to be at the top and the drain at the bottom? Your setup might cook your turbo due to lack of oil. Loving the fact you just get stuck in where so many just dream.

Good spot, the video was filmed a while ago, since then I've changed the set up around a bit and got the feed up top and the drain down, some stuff was temporary just to get the car running👍

E10?? In a car with rubber fuel lines? Are you planning on running it all the time on E10 or just for initial start up to let the ethanol eat out any crap?

Unfortunately E10 is the only type of fuel we have in Ireland, even premium is E10. Long term I’ll have to either try some additive or do some sort of conversion, not sure yet.

Oh my. I'm in Australia and lucky in the sense of e10, 91 unleaded, 95 and 98 octane and now e85
