You are a tonic to listen to Pavlin....makes so much sense. Before I think about buying anything for the bike I always watch your videos to see if I really need them...not want them...need them. So thanks and keep up the posting and happy riding.

Hi man I’m a retired international truck driver and GPS was not even in the USA Army when I drove across Europe It was all done with maps in the old days 😂 and I still to this day use maps. I like to see in the map where I’m going, what’s around me and as you say Pavlin they don’t need to be charged 🤣👍 I understand you not wanting to lose time making videos on route, the weekly updates would be super, my route for 2021 is changing now 😉 Thanks for your passion and the time you spend making these videos

Like the survival box. I will copy this idea. My compass lives in the clear tank bag with the map. If my gps packs up or cannot get a signal it's an easy directional check if I can't see the sun. And I always carry a cheap lightweight motorcycle cover, for security in cities to cover the bike, and I can sleep in it or use it to keep me warm if I need to, especially as it is water and wind proof and covers my whole body. Good stuff. Happy travels

I'd highly suggest everybody to check out these modern GPS alarm systems that automatically call for help in case of ie. heavy impact and no movement for time x type devices. Pretty much "Blackbox" for motorcyclists. There's quite many models sold these days. I'm at least personally thinking about getting these for me and my spouse. It can be bit intimidating to wait for someone riding in bad weather when time begins to be quite bit longer than estimated and when calling other can't obviously hear you. I know a guy who went riding with motocross by himself, hit tree quite hard and waited pretty badly injured for hour or two until others began to search for him.

Thank you Pavlin for your advice, nice video like always. I think that the most important thing to take with you on a motorcycle trip (long or short) will be a Satellite Communicator. I know it sounds fancy but I think it is very necessary in case of life threatening situation. Something like a Garmin InReach mini or Spot Gen3.

Totally agree with you about not making and showing short videos of your trip as you travel because it does deter from watching the full video later on. I found this with your Pakistan and India series and commented about it at the time. Enjoy your new adventure and I look forward to seeing the series in the future. 👍

You better take one of those throat tablets, sounds like you have a sore throat or something. Very good detailed video. After the tailbag video I was curious about the tankbag. I like the fact that you actually went a size smaller comparing to your previous tankbag. My new tankbag also has the transparent window on top. They are getting pretty rare nowadays, seems like nobody is using charts anymore. Like you I also want to have charts with me and visable on the bike. Sometimes I make my own printed maps for areas without real roads.
