If you're opening an 'MRE', mate, take your knife and cut it along the side of the packet, rather than the top. This stops your hand and entire spoon from being covered in the food as you eat it and gives you much easier access to the food too.

Wish companies did CARPS for nutrition guides instead of Calories for us diabetics. To many and to few carbs can KILL. Do to many or to few calories kill as fast?
