Prepping My Cayenne For A Road Trip To Arizona!

Just some quick maintenance before I head out to Arizona for Thanksgiving week. Cleaned the throttle body and did the front brakes to prep for the road trip. Been wanting to take the Cayenne off-roading so hopefully I can find some time to do a quick trail!

Hey Geno, I like the setup so far with your Cayenne. Did you ever figure out if it was a vacuum leak? Looking forward to seeing how this progresses. I have been looking for a Marina Blue S for quite some time and plan to do something similar. Thanks!

Appreciate it, thanks for watching! I’m gonna do a vacuum leak test this week but I have a feeling it’s actually just the motor mounts that need replacing. Goodluck on your search!

Your rough idle could be a pcv valve failure, FCP Euro has a common issues video and a common rough idle diagnosis is a PCV valve. You’ll have to do the whole valve cover but it will fix your idle if you haven’t done so already! Love the build btw! I pick a 957 recently and mine has a slight rough idle and after doing some research it was the PCV valve.

Appreciate the info! I haven't changed out the PCV valve yet but yeah could possibly. I'm experiencing more vibration than rough idle now so based on mileage its most likely motor mounts. But PCV will definitely get changed out with valve cover gaskets soon. Thanks for checking out the channel!

I'm going to test for vacuum leak tomorrow, if it shows nothing then I'm pretty sure it's just time to change out motor/transmission mounts. I'm at 90k so it's about the time frame
