When you were trying to think of what else you may need, don’t forget about the blackout blinds for new baby’s room! I know they made a big difference for Cove’s naps.

You could put the snacks in Tupperware or reusable baggies so it doesn’t get stale!

This is probably random and not really gonna be useful but when my mom introduced my newborn baby sister to me she gave me a present... basically she said that "the baby brought me a present". My mom said it was helpful for her with the transition of me not being an only child and to try to avoid any jealousy

You should do a video all about how you taugh cove all of the life skills and stuff you taught her like her baby sign language, unloading the dishwasher, grabbing her own plates and water, etc. I would love to teach my daughter all of these things too but don’t know how to even begin!

I would get reusable bags for her snacks. Theres lots of good options for that around that she should be able to open !

Our 1st baby girls are a few months apart, and now we're expecting our 2nd baby girls 2 DAYS apart! Soooo excited to watch Aspyn prep for baby sis. 😍 Over halfway there!

If you don’t already have a haaka I highly recommend getting one!! It is a manual type pump that you attach to one breast while baby nurses on the other and it catches all of the extra milk from that side. It was extremely helpful for me with my third.

For coco’s water station you could also fill a drink dispenser and put it on a plant stand and just have it by the wall next to all her eating things .

Yeah I’d put the food in bags or Tupperware so it doesn’t get stale or bugs won’t get into it. Not saying that you have bugs because I’m sure you don’t but that’s a good way to start a bug problem.

Look into the ikea upcycle for a montesorri style kitchen for Cove! You can set up the sink to actually run! Also maybe a mini fridge for her snacks? In containers she can open!

you could put one of the tiny mini fridges and put it in there with premade sippy cups of water for her to just grab when she needs it!

If the water dispenser doesn't work out for Cove, like maybe if she's too young (but she seems super smart!) maybe get those tiny fridges and keep like 2 sippy bottles in there for her

This might help for cove’s snacks!! Munchkin Snack Catcher you can find them on amazon! They are small containers with a silicon “window” so they can easily grab a snack but also have a type of protection

If you put a water dispenser maybe put a waterproof mat underneath so it doesn’t ruin the bottom of the shelf

Hey girl! Maternity nurse here! When you go to the hospital they should give you a Medela hand pump! My hospital gives them to our patients if they’re breastfeeding!

When I was a baby (around Cove’s age) before my little sister was born my parents had me potty trained- their goal was to not have 2 kids in diapers- I know it seems kind of early but you can start potty training Cove so you won’t have double diapers to change

My baby hated being swaddled. Always had him in sleep sacks. I also feel like I‘m the only person who prefers pyjamas with buttons rather than zippers.
