Thanks for checking out the video! I hope you enjoy episode 2. We run into a few issues in the morning but we get things sorted and make it to the trails. The next few episodes will focus more heavily on riding. There is loads of content from this trip. I'm heading to TN late next week so there is even more awesome riding content on the way once the WV series is done. I'm picking away at the next few episodes so stay tuned!

Best SxS channel hands down! Changing a steering rack is a pain in the ass. I’ve been the guy holding up the group because of needing repairs and man it makes me feel terrible and especially when you can see everybody’s body language that they are getting flustered and I’ll tell them just go I’ll hang out at camp, luckily even aggregated they make sure your not left behind. Gotta have a good group.

Lol, I knew I’d get flack for this 😂. It’s like you identified though, not many convenient choices in the morning for such a large group. I wouldn’t say it’s a “fast” place to grab a bite and coffee but it works well. Lots of parking, a grocery store for snacks and supplies a dollar store incase you need some odds and ends. I wish there was a good family run breakfast place in town that could accommodate a group like ours without us losing 2 hours. I don’t know of any places around there that could do that. In theory, it’s still a local business and at least a portion of our money stays in the community, lol. 😜

coming from someone who started on a dirt bike, went to a 3 wheeler, then to an ATV, to a SXS and now back to an ATV, also driving trucks jeeps and everything in between for about 20 years now i can say the guy at the start on the ATV seemed really inexperienced with anything other than some normal trail riding. cant blame the guy though ive done some crazy rock stuff and crazy climbs were your laying over the bars with your helmet hitting your front rack and your front wheels still want to come up and its unsettling for sure, i like that you mention how its ok that hes timid in this situation and he can ride with some one else instead of calling him a wuss or something, as always you guys are a class act and its one of the reasons i like watching your stuff so much. you dont call people out or make fun of people you try and be constructive
@AdrenalineJunkieProd

Thanks for the thoughtful comment John. I’m happy you can relate. For conversation sake, you could have a very experienced atv mud rider that is completely lost on the rocks and a rock rider that can’t handle mud. It’s all about experience at the end of the day. We love busting chops and making fun of each other but it’s always in good fun. You need a thick skin to ride with us but at the end of the day all the poking is for fun and friendly competition. We are all out to have fun so no sense of making fun of someone when they are struggling. It doesn’t help anyone. It only makes the rider who is struggling more uncomfortable and puts them at more risk of messing up. When someone hurts themselves or wrecks a machine it affects the whole team. We win together and we lose together. It’s all about the Offroad brotherhood. I feel a lot of people have been losing track of what the core values of off-roading really are.

Ya man, I know what you mean. It's that use it or lose it approach. It's easy to lose your edge when you stop ATVing. I used to be a pretty good ATV rider too but now being out of it for so long I too would struggle in many areas.

@@loveistheanswer8137 yes that’s the type of ridding most of us are capable of plus some. Most utvs can’t keep up as they get scared (guys that have been riding utv for at least 5 years and said they were “good”…) and dirtbike riders where a few were racers, most of the dirt bikes end up breaking bones and catching a ride back. There is some good technical sections. That’s what we ride around looking for. I know the outlaw trails offer a lot more of that and next time we head back our goal is to spend some time on the outlaw trails. We don’t ride mid-high speed trails often so it’s a nice change of pace for us too. You’ll see some cool technical sections in upcoming videos. Especially once we get into day 2.

If you want a tablet for GPS stick to only Samsung. They have the best GPS chips. I like Lifetime trail maps and for these areas of the states they have the trails mapped very well. Their app requires a Samsung tablet. Look into it. I’m not affiliated with them but I do know the owner Chris and we’ve ridden together. He’s a nice guy and I’ve heard a lot of positive feedback on the software. My friend Jason is also good friends with him and he is a die hard Lifetime Trail Maps user. I’ll try and include more info on the GPS in future videos.

Great video as usual and I love your channel!!! I trust your opinion and I need it right now. I'm really close at closing a deal on a 2022 Segway Villain sx10 x. 25k all in out the door with a spare belt and first service included. I'm just having a hard time trusting the reliability and parts availability etc. What are your thoughts? What have you heard both good and bad since your time with them? The deal is obviously awesome but it doesn't matter if they are just not holding up. BTW I'm mainly a trail rider who likes to go fast and sometimes a little sideways and in the air!!! Lol. Thanks for your time. 🍻

@AdrenalineJunkieProd Жыл бұрын
Hey Ben! I feel that with a machine this new the most important thing to do is trust the dealer you are getting it from. The dealer often has a lot to do with satisfaction when things don't go according to plan. Realistically there is risk involved with any newer unit, the risk is bigger here since there is a lack of aftermarket support and a very thin dealer network. It takes years for a brand to get established. If it's in your budget and you want something different then I've heard a lot of positive feedback. I have heard that the team behind Segway Canada is a bit shady though, not the dealers, the people above them. I've heard this from many people. As far as the product, I feel Segway brought a lot to the table for a launch model. It's basically a non-turbo X3. The two guys I know who have them have enjoyed them so far. Just keep in mind, there are other machines in this price point with a proven track record, a strong dealer network, a proven warranty and very strong aftermarket. Don't base your choice on a 2000-3000 dollar difference because in this game $3000 isn't a lot of money in the long run. I don't want to tell you not to buy it, however, factor all the pros and cons of various units and choose what is right for your needs and expectations. It's a very personal choice. Take everything you see and hear online with a grain of salt, they are all just opinions. Hope that helps a bit. Let me know what you decide.

Ya we do. The joint was worn out. Like we mentioned in the video it was just supposed to make it “feel” better till we get home and replace it. Not a fix, just a bit of a band-aid.

No, alcohol is not allowed on the Hatfield McCoy trail system. Pepsi however is. I personally don’t really drink at all but I can’t control what others want to do. There are lots of different views on the topic. I don’t support drinking and riding but I do support common sense and moderation. Once again, according to the rules alcohol is not permitted on the Hatfield McCoy trail system.

why do you support Mc Donalds that's not local I am sure you could get a better breakfast than that
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Жыл бұрын
I explained why in the video but I can go into more detail. It’s convenient, it’s easy and there isn’t any other restaurants around that we know of open for breakfast that can serve this many of us and have room to park all the machines. The grocery store is handy for ice and drinks and snacks for the day. This is a very small town so this just makes the most sense logistically. However, even if the money is left at McDonald’s in theory it is still a local business and a portion of the money will remain within the community. Not arguing with you just elaborating on the reasoning.
