My chocolate chip muffins are soft, fluffy, moist, tender and chock-full of chocolate chips! They've got that nice high bakery style dome and are just about perfection straight out of the oven.

Don't mind this, it's just for me🙆🏼‍♀️ (edit: yes, I know it is in the bio now, but it wasn‘t when I watched the video) 330g flour 1 tsp salt 14g baking powder 300ml milk 113g melted butter 200g sugar 2 eggs 60ml plain yoghurt 15ml vanilla 262g chocolate 220*C for 5 min 175*C for 20-25 min

Recipe: 2 3/4 cup of All-Purpose Flour (330g) 1 tsp kosher salt 1 Tbsp Baking Powder 1/2 Cup Butter (113g, unsalted, melted and cooled) 1 1/4 Cup Whole Milk (300 ml) 1 Cup Granulated Sugar (200g) 1/4 Cup Sour Cream (60 ml) 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract 2 eggs room temperature 1 1/2 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Enjoy :)

Thank you for being so real in your videos! When I'm baking sometimes the butter clumps up and in any video I watch, no one talks about that happening and I get a little scared I did something wrong lol. I've been binging your videos for hours now and I love them so much! New subscriber :))

Thanks John! I was not having a great day in quarantine but boom! Your video was posted and I watched about 20 seconds of it before pulling out all the ingredients! I made 18 smaller ones so that they wouldn’t go as quickly! They are DELICIOUS!

Oh man, I will most certainly make that recipe! I've made the cross buns for Easter and they came out wonderful! And who doesn't like muffins? Especially now for celebration that soon we won't need to have special permits to go outside! We still need to watch ourselves, but those permits were such a pain. And they're fluffy and not too crispy, perfect for my grandmother. You're really a hero, bro.

Awesome, the trick of high heat in the first 5 minutes is brilliant, and the recipe is balanced with the ingredients. first time within half an hour, my kids finished the 12 muffins including me. Thank you for sharing.

I am not much of a baker. I absolutely love cooking, but once in a while I get the urge to bake (once every few years haha). I made this recipe today and these are actually the best muffins I've ever had! I substituted the sour cream for extra apple sauce and they came out delicious, they didn't even need the chocolate chips. If Jan bake this anyone can, I think I've only ever baked 6-7 times in my life. Thanks, I love watching your videos.

I made these today and they turned out amazing!!!! I did it without muffin papers and loved how crispy the outsides were but the insides were supper fluffy and moist. My only changes to the recipe were using low fat greek yogurt because i didnt have anything else, and slightly leas chocolate chips. They still turned out perfect, so dont be afraid to hold back on some of the choc chips if you want to!
