John, I made this for my mother today. She has an incurable, stage IV, metastatic cancer so I make anything that keeps weight on her body. She absolutely loved it. The only different things I did was used Lorna Doons and used my crème brûlée torch to the whipped cream. I’m not one for commenting on videos but many thanks for all you’ve done. John, I made this exactly as the recipe says; didn't waver from anything. I made it for my Bible Study tonight and to say it was a big hit would be an understatement. I grew up on Banana Pudding, have had many versions of it from different people in my life. But I've never had anything more divine than this one. Everyone loved it, and I came back with barely enough to have it for breakfast! Several people were absent tonight and I have been requested to make it again in 2 weeks in order that everyone can have it. Actually they confessed they just wanted me to do it again.. period! Though taking credit for making it, I made certain they knew where I got the recipe from and indicated they would be paying your videos a visit to get this and other recipes. I have made this many time and it is a great recipe. One think that I have been doing recently is to run the wafers through the food processor. I use this in the layers instead of whole wafers. It really kicks it up a notch.

When making thick or whipped cream for any dish, you should know that the lower/longer the speed/time you use the better because whipping on a higher speed will cause your cream to fall or flatten but the lower whipping speed will prevent falling making for a full, thick & richer cream that will hold it's fluff.

My grandma always used the cook pudding so it soaked into the bills wafers and set up around everything. First of your recipes that I have actually made a bunch of times before lol. Awesome. I made this exact recipe with bananas and also later with Frozen Kesar mango slices from an Indian grocery store. Both are delicious but the color and taste with Kesar Mango slices is next-level nirvana!!

ive never had banana pudding but my friend has a real appetite for it and i decided to give it a shot at making some for her and let me just say... this recipe is YUMMY! absolute sweet goodness!! 😋 i didnt really know what to expect when trying banana pudding for the first time but i was not disappointed! i sprinkled cinnamon on top of mine and minus the whipped cream (cause my container was too small to fit any with a lid) and let it sit in the fridge for 8 hours and it came out just *chefs kiss*👌🏼

so... this was pretty incredible! I knew my husband would love it, so I sent it to him, and we were eating it the next night. SO GOOD! and easy, too! We are the 'middle of the road' Nilla wafer crispness... we like them a little soaked, but we don't want to wait too long, so a nice medium crunch works for us (but the leftovers the next day were still good... not like we aren't going to eat it because the Nilla wafers are softer! ;) )

My fave!! I grew up in NC and SC and make mine the exact same way...except I've never used the sweetened condensed milk in mine lol..I like my cookies soft in this recipe, so I wait a few hours for it to set up.
