John, I'm an experienced home baker so I just want to compliment you on your generosity of sharing your knowledge and passion of baking and cooking. Your recipes are stellar. You must have been an incredible teacher because it shows in how carefully you explain steps to the finished product. Made this today for my husband because lemon is his favorite. Family said it is the best cheesecake they have ever had. I made the curd from your recipe and my husband was trying to fit his head inside the bowl to lick it clean. Very good! Directions were great and easy to follow. Thank you.

I really appreciate that you're so descriptive about what your product should look like as you go along through certain steps (color change or texture change, etc). I also appreciate that you provide info about doing steps with a food processor or manually so very helpful. Honestly, in cooking shows you often never see the baker scrape the bowl down (but it's so necessary) thank you for showing that. This cheesecake looks luscious and I can't wait to make it as a birthday gift. xoxo

Made this for Father’s Day, this would be the fourth cheesecake recipe of yours I’ve made. Just like all the others this one shut down the room. All talk gave way to clinking silverware and murmurs of contentment and happiness. The lemon flavor especially complements the cheesecake tang. Love your cookbook, your website, and your videos. Top notch as always

I made a tiramisu cheesecake once. Made the crust with half lady finger and half Oreo cookie with a bit of espresso powder and then the cheesecake mix with half mascarpone cheese and half cream cheese with some espresso. I also put espresso soaked lady fingers at the 1/3 and 2/3 mark and topped with cocoa powder to further resemble a tiramisu. It was one of my favorite cheesecakes 😋

We have a lemon tree in our back yard that have so many lemons this year. Our kitchen table is filled with lemons and so I just searched “lemon recipes” and yours was one of the first to come up. Everyone in your comment section raved about how delicious your recipes were so I gave it a shot. THE BEST RECIPES EVER. I tried the lemon cheesecake a few days ago and now will be doing all of your lemon recipes so I can get rid of these lemons 😂 subscribing forever!!!

When I make my cheesecake I use a large chafing dish filled halfway with hot water on bottom rack, prevents it from cracking. I have always used the raspberry ribbon recipe from taste of home and everyone requests it, raspberries are in season now. This recipe looks delicious , can’t wait to try!

same, I don't do the water bath but just a tray or pan with hot water on the bottom of my oven and my cheesecake comes out perfectly creamy- of course you have to make check on it from time to time until just the center is wobbly and its done

John, currently making this recipe for the second time for my sister's get together tomorrow. The first time I made it was this past easter and it was a HIT. I didn't even get a piece I had to just pick what was left off of the cake plate. The homemade lemon curd takes it to another level. John! I made this cheesecake only with lime juice and put lime curd on top - it was the BEST cheesecake I have ever eaten and I forgot to put in the cream and it was still super light and delicious! My family has a choose a baker competition for GBBO each year. At the end of the season, my dad had to make a Showstopper of my choosing and this was my pick. Not a crack, perfectly cooked. I do one lemon in my cheesecake with only two packs of cream cheese. I do a praline graham cracker crust. Top with cherries and whipped cream and freeze it. Partially thawed is delicious. Love your recipes. Especially blending the lemon with the sugar. Definitely going to try this recipe next cheesecake! ❤

John I made more than a few cheesecakes. I've made this one too. It's consistency of "Done-ness" at the time of being finished baking was spot on. The taste was exquisite. & Yes I've made your Oreo chocolate cheesecake as well. This lemon cheesecake should get all the awards! It is really good. Thanks for sharing it.
