Here we talk about how to center and scale data to enhance the information. We are mainly in the context of chemometric machine learning so PCA, PLS and models like that.

Can you please provide the link to get more details (course contents, fees, and duration). Also, I would appreciate if you confirm this course available online or not, as it is not feasible to travel in pandemic. Thanks

4:26 No doubt very nicely represented...just a small correction...the centered height data will be 10, -10, 0

matlab costs like 2,000 USD for a license.

your best alternative is to code this in python instead, python is preferred in a ton of industries too so you wouldn't really be missing much. Then you would probably benefit more from watching a python data science playlist

@@andrewkellogg7370 Thank you very much Andrew, I have valid MATLAB license, but are you using PCA toolbox ? because those functionality is not available in common matlab. Also, is that PCA toolbox specially designed for the HSI preprocessing , if yes then it is available for download? Many thanks in advance.

He is using the PLS Toolbox, which is either available as a plugin to Matlab or a standalone version. eigenvector.com/software/pls-toolbox/ Sure, much of this can be done in Python, but for doing more exploratory analyses it's really useful due to the toolbox nature and rich visualization options
