I feel bad for the Coasties in the honor guard who had to attend this BS. Enlisted members hate standing at parade rest for hours while officers and civilians celebrate how great they are.

Is this the normal way a Secty of Defense is welcomed??? I dont remember ever seeing it, or is this the President's way of reviewing as "Commander in Chief"?

Victoria Woolley. Don't know for sure but I believe this was just more of Trump's playing with soldiers..only this time the soldiers are grown human beings.... not that Trump really cares. I felt bad for the men and women having to be out in the heat in their dress uniforms for no purpose except to stroke Trump's ego.

Esper was vice president of government relations at Raytheon which is a major U.S. defense contractor that designs missles and other devices. This seems like not-insignificant conflict of interests.
