I started out exactly like you! I spent all my weekends planning and gathering supplies. A lot of the time I did not know what I was going to do from one week to the next, so I had to scramble every weekend. We followed a curriculum but it was terrible and never had enough stuff for the kids to do. I relied on Teachers Pay Teachers and pinterest. It is literally like planning a little kid's birthday party every day of the week! what is your curriculum? do you do themes? I'd love to help! The best advice I can give is to plan your entire year week by week first-not down to specific activities, but themes, holidays, etc. Then you know where you need to go. That way you can look at your calendar, see what you have coming up and punch out 2-4 weeks lesson plans at once-beginning with the end in mind, and specific goals for the week. I also have days that I always do the same type of centers...like letter fomation is always monday, journals are always friday, shapes are wednesday, etc...that means, I know I'm hitting my standards and I just need to find the activities to match the standards. I can tell you more later...and I know I have lesson planning videos with links to all of my lesson planning materials.

I think that a lot of what I show in my videos will fit into EYFS requirements...the social and emotional, self-regulation, and physical development can be added in with activities that you do everyday and with everyday experience. so much is learned through playing with other children, learning how to attend to stories and books, and learning to follow 2and 3 step instructions etc. is there someting specific you wanted?
