I lost a son, he was murdered. He came to me in a dream and laid down on me (I was laying on my stomach) and all this love poured like water through my body from his 😢😢 I truly believe he was showing me what it feels like to be there to alleviate my suffering over losing him. 😢😢 Thank you so so much Raymond 🌹🌹🌹

Raymond, your testimony along with others like you will change the world, I have debated for 50+ years whether God exists or not and to hear the repeated NDE stories from you and hundreds and hundreds of other people, I have conclude without a doubt God does exist. Perhaps I cannot touch, hear, see or sense Him in any manner,(yet) but the "eye" witness accounts are truly over-whelming. Please keep sharing your experience and the details of your experience, that is all we need to hear. Love will heal our wounds.

You are god so am I so is everything. Consciousness, all that is, god, to me all are the same thing. Life is such a profoundly complex thing. As beautiful as tragic and cruel. But love is a force unlike any other. It doesn’t bend to time or space it transcends reality. We are here to spiritualize externally, that force id imagine. To love all life including earth which has its own life force also obviously

One thing I love about Ray (and all legit NDE's for that matter) is as I watch, I can see in his FACE and his facial expressions how genuine his experience was. It's clear he's not being deceptive (or even self deceived) in what he is saying; that he's describing something that REALLY happened to him. It's quite incredible, actually, to witness such honest and true testimony relating to something not even of EARTH. I mean I have seen the same expressions from people telling true stories of their lives and here Ray is talking about something beyond EARTH, and he's really experienced it!! This sort of thing is, in my humble opinion, completely under rated.

The brain is a receiver of consciousness, not a producer of consciousness. That's how you can be dead and still conscious.
@evolveinwards35689 жыл бұрын
Agreed, the brain is just a conduit for thinking and interpreting worldly sense data. That functionality is made possible by the fuel of consciousness.
@tracyavent-costanza3466 жыл бұрын
or maybe the six pounds of gray meat is a "temporary container for consciousness in some form" in a fitful attempt to be more precise.
@lalannej4 жыл бұрын
The brain is really just a function of the body, a nerve center which allows it to be organized and operate involuntarily as a coherent unit. The mind or spirit has no part of the body, exists independently of the body. You could say the brain is the wick which holds the flame of the spirit connected to the body. But the spirit is a purely non-corporeal or non-material essence. Materialists who are looking for the mind or consciousness as a function of the brain are wasting their time. Also Raymond's experience reveals how our experience of life is truly a subjective experience of our spirits perception, the body really has little to do with our inner experience of meaning, purpose, value, reality, truth, or importance.

Raymond's NDE is one of the most profound I've ever heard.I had OBE's as a very young child,OBE's/astral projections as a school-age child,a hellish OBE after a suicide attempt at 16,after which I turned back to God and have since had numerous more OBE's and sojourns to the Other Side and back,along with very heightened intuition and prophetic dreams.I had the idea just before I wrote this to re-write this section of the Lord's Prayer,along the lines of Raymond's NDE: Love's Kingdom come,Love's will be done,on earth as it is in heaven.The reason we're here is to bring love to this earth and fill ourselves and others with it,but more than that,to be the love that we intrinsically are.Things don't and cannot get better here until we do that.Have all the fun in the universe,remembering the love that you are,and are created to be.....................

Thanks Raymond!! The answer to the charge of "hallucination" is: Since when do hallucinations inspire the hallucinator to change their life for the better...sometimes MAJOR changes?---and to cause the person to be more loving and kind and go around helping others, inspiring others to not be afraid of death, to love all of creation more, to love self and others more intensely? A person who has experienced an hallucination KNOWS shortly thereafter that it WAS an hallucination and they forget it, placing that experience in that part of the brain storage area that houses that bad dream you had a month ago, or where the memory of stumbling over that skateboard on the sidewalk, causing a sprained an ankle, is located. IOW, an hallucination has virtually no impact on the rest of that person's life (unless, of course, that person was seriously injured in some way related to the hallucination). The other point is this: hallucinations originate in the BRAIN. How is it possible to have an hallucination when there is no heartbeat and no brain activity and clinically dead for more than 5 minutes? Usually the charge of "hallucination" is made by folks who don't WANT NDE's to be *real*...IMO. IF the NDE IS a mere hallucination, I say, *May god bless hallucinations! The world NEEDS MORE of them!*
@tellmesomethingg7 жыл бұрын
I agree with this! Another argument to make about the possibility of hallucination is - Why do so many people have similar NDE's? How could people from all around the world have such similar "hallucinations"? Also... many of these NDE's happen spontaneously i.e. car accidents, heart attacks, freak accidents, etc. Why would all these "hallucinations" revolve around the afterlife opposed to other random things.
@sugaconda28644 жыл бұрын
And something else, how could an hallucination create the image of people you don’t know but that they have existed? How would you know how your mother’s friend looks like if you never met him? How?
@kathleenturner71383 жыл бұрын
“We have a brain! That’s no less real...”. I love this statement. I have always argued that point...why is existing in another dimension or in heaven such a far fetched idea? It’s no more far fetched than knowing we live here and now. Isn’t our current existence just as inconceivable ? Yet...here we are.

Raymond I can see your sincerity which is why I'm making contact. I haven't had an NDE ; I'm a researcher and scientist, but people like you confirm what I have received as inner knowing or 'downloads' to use today's vernacular. I had a series of dreams and visions which led to 18 years of research and the publication of It's All Light. I'm sorry for what seems like self promotion when I mention my book but I would be happy to send it to you. It unites science and spirituality; I can explain the tunnel of light for example and why we see beings of light in the other dimensions. I'm sorry too that you went through all those years with no-one to talk to about it, but there is an explanation and your intuition is correct. The conclusion of It's All Light is that it's all love, as you correctly conclude. Love is coherent light and the ultimate aim of our evolution. Btw, I was also 9 in 1966, like other people in your comments here - a great year brother. Thank you for your bravery and honesty.

Hi Raymond, years ago when I was raising my 3 kids alone, I used to be afraid of going to sleep. I awoke one night. I saw nothing. But I felt, what I believe was the Blessed Mother. It was like being in the safeness of my mother's womb. It was a delicious love. It made me yearn to be with God. I lost all fear of going to sleep at night. Plus, I also had night terrors that went... It gave me trust of God's great love for me. I am 74, and I was probably in my twenties or thirties at the time. I now have such a yearning to go home when God calls me, yet I know we all are here for a unique mission. It is a journey, and it takes courage. But I look forward, more than words can say when Jesus calls me home to Him...But life is precious and I do not say that lightly!

Hi Raymond, I too was a devout Catholic, but I was never comfortable with the concept of Heaven and Hell - I reckoned that in order to get to Heaven you'd basically have to be a Saint, and how could you learn how to be like that in one lifetime - mind boggling and confusing. Long story short - I was like this until I was around 28 years old when I met a spiritually gifted woman who taught me a lot. I'm now a firm believer in reincarnation which makes a lot more sense. Thanks and much love for telling your experience.

It is so important for the rest of us who have not gone through such an experience in this lifetime to hear this type of accounts. It brings trust closer to us. Also, I am a non-denominational Christian and it is surprising how some Christians are so blinded by dogma.. they have not experienced anything and still, through "belief" and dogma only, they think they hold the truth and promote division. Peace.

Hey Raymond, not sure if you're still around, but I saw you were and I'm thrilled. Thanks so much for sharing. You have precious precious knowledge. I can relate so well to how language confounds us to tell our stories to people w/ earth senses and language. I had an out of body experience, not as indepth as yours and I experienced that total void, but God was right there, so no fear. Even as I was going through it, I was attempted to draw a crude picture in my mind of me as the little blob and God as the big blob so I could relate in my humanness to what was happening. As an orientation, I guess. His love was incredible. I remember the power coming from him, like he was only giving me a little bit of it and I sensed I couldn't handle it all. It was almost like a pulse of power (those are the paltry words I can use anyway). But the gentleness towards me, and love, w/ all that power that I knew I wasn't near to totally sensing breaks me down to this day. Like you, I can go right back. Anyways, I wondered why no white light, or unearthly colour of flowers, why the void? I think the most valuable thing it taught me was how limited we are in language here compared to there. It helps me understand the fallibility of religion and all our holy books, because of our language and sensory limitations, and how we want to humanize God. All the religions seem to have similar tenants, and I'm sure part of the truth. Any that claim they have it all are just vain and ego driven. I'm still loosely christian, but I've opened up to the rest of religions as having truth and being valid ways to God too. The loving heart I always had to want to see all saved is fulfilled by this. My worry for atheists and hell was answered by Howard Storms NDE (which is awesome, it's christain based, but he's not dogmatic) And now I get to talk w/ other faiths about God and it's very nice, often nicer, more fulfilling than talking to christians. go figure. I'm sure you know what I mean. God bless.

Interviewer: “So in a way the church, ah, was an impediment to your, ah, authentic spiritual development.” Raymond (laughing): “Yes, I’d say that’s a pretty good explanation, yes.” Pretty sad when a priest tells a little kid that they are possessed by Satan. Very, very creepy and demented. Fortunately Raymond was eventually able to see beyond this self-limiting, fear-based belief - thus allowing him to pursue real spiritual knowledge and truth. You just can't pursue truth when you're trapped in a belief system, any belief system, because it stops you from seeing "beyond the belief." Belief is the enemy of truth, as are fear and ego. Raymond has really benefited from his NDE; it has made him so much wiser! Cheers.
@zenmasterjack38734 жыл бұрын
The priest was once that little child. They are only passing along what they have been taught. It is not our duty to pass judgment on them, but to show them how and why that perspective is wrong and not in alignment with God and truth. Mind you, I am not saying the preist was in the right to say this, but if we make a monster out of them, and dehumanize them, for making a mistake (like we all do, you and I are not blameless), because of something they were taught and believed to be true, then we too become a monster, and fall out of alignment with the truth and with love. It is in this state that we ourselves will often go forward to harm others with our actions and words, ironically enough.

so far, the accounts I have heard here (youtube, iAMS) etc., as well as the ones I have directly been told about, seem to have some significant aspects in common. Thank you, Raymond, so much, for sharing your NDE and your insights. You have such a candid, warm way of communicating. Very refreshing! I was fascinated that you had a Christian fundamentalist phase, because I had one. I was completed devoted to that perspective. I didn't have an NDE, but was praying intensely to be guided through a huge dilemma. I was exposed to spiritual ideas that were new to me at the time, basically that there are many paths to Spirit, that we keep coming back to embodiment to learn to love in many varied relationships. I had profound difficulty with this concept because it wasn't what I learned in church, which was we only have one life, and my mother and father who weren't Christian are going to hell. Well, after 3 days of intense soul-searching and prayer, Light exploded in my brain and I was immediately resolved. Love and acceptance won out over fear and anxiety. I love that sharing of NDE's is becoming widespread. Direct experiences of the divine are deeply nourishing. Thanks again, so much, for sharing your experiences!

I believe you Raymond, I can't say how my heart is filled with gratitude and appreciative I am to hear and listen to your amazingly awesome journey of your after death experience. I could tell the genuineness of how you walked us through your experience, it simply sounds like something I'd love to experience after here. It's the most beautiful and moving story I've ever heard that I'd just so want to be part of one day. We are called to Love 💗 God is Love 💗🙏 God bless you Raymond for being a witness to us of God's great and awesome incredible love to all of us and the whole universe.

Just watched both interviews. Really enjoyed. So honest and authentic. Having had many mystical experiences myself I completely related to many of his responses to his experiences. I really appreciated his acceptance of our humanness and the emotions that encompasses and how he processed and integrated his experience into life. Excellent. Thank you for doing this interview and sharing it. I especially loved where he spoke of the release he felt when he just let go. I literally could feel that, like a free fall yet no fear and complete embrace of the love we sprang from. When he spoke of grief I thought of the quote below which I love. Tears are like holy water to me. The full embrace of our God self within this flesh suit. “There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and unspeakable love.” ~Washington Irving

The first NDE I heard about was Dannion Brinkley's in 1995. Since then I've found the work of Tom Campbell. He makes sense of NDE's, among all other similar phenomena.

Thanks Raymond! What you shared applies to me and helps me do the best thing I know about: be loving, be kind, laugh and enjoy. Everything else falls into place if I do those things. :-)

This interviewer has the best voice and best skill as an interviewer I have ever heard. Better than any of the large platform guys because he is humble and kind. He doesn't interrupt and lets the person tell their story. Second place goes to Mark Laita. Anyhow. Great interview. I love this one. God bless you.
