I think best of both worlds would be Present toys set , but replace the head with the DX13 or custom head sculpt.

It could still be leather. You can get stuff now that is effectively a just a very thin top layer of leather attatched to an underlying fabric. Basically removing the suade element and replacing it with fabric. Its the cheapest way to do it while avoiding the degrading synthetic material of pleather, which is just plastic covered fabric. But time will tell i guess. Pleather will fall to bits eventually.

I wish you were right my friend but I fear not! Present Toys are a 3rd party company they tend to play fast and lose with the truth in their descriptions, I have made the tears in mine look more realistic by actually ripping the material and when you do that the plastic flakes off! It is really good quality pleather and will last as long if not longer than my DX13 and that's not showing any flaking as of yet 😁 thanks for taking the time to comment it's much appreciated stay safe and have fun 😎

I'm very happy with my fishbone's since it has metal robot arm and weapons plus the face likeness is hottoys quality.

Think I'll just stick with my DX13 lol. Present toys is a hit or miss with that Company and there bodies seem all short. But am happy for those who wanted a figure like this and can't afford the DX13. not surprisingly for what its going for on the secondary market. But great video John and good to see all of them side by side. The DX13 is still one of my favourites in the collection. 😊

Yep gotta admit the DX13 is one of my favorite figures and for years I've wanted to use that second head sculpt and liquid T1000! The Present Toys body works really well for that I'm actually quite impressed with the work they put into it for the price point just that terrible head sculpt let it down! This is the first video that actually makes the Present Toys figure look good, some of the other videos and photos I’ve seen make him look chunky and weird. This looks spot on with the DX13 headsculpt. I reckon with the DX13 jacket on too that’s the winner there. Shame about the leather / pleather thing. I guess the DX13 head is resting on there, or a bit of blu tak. Looks great.

@@mondayworship390 The DX13 head sculpt fits perfectly on to the Present Toys body no blue tack needed it's an exact clone of the DX13 body

If you want leather, you could always preorder the prime 1 version, downside it costs (delivered and import tax included) well over £3000 😂

@@gweilojohn8550 No this is the new 1/3 one they’re bringing out, it’s 29 inches high. I must admit, it looks absolutely epic, but it’s a huge amount of money. I’d get one if I could afford it, but I can’t complain, I already preordered the endoskeleton in the same series. I already have the DX-13 so buying the bigger, better version isn’t very justifiable to the wife! 🤣 Cheers.

There are many different versions of leather out there. Its probably the thinnest / worse layer you can possibly get. Also, the fishbone figure is terrible 😂

Hi it's definitely pleather I've modified the costume by cutting pieces off! I'll do a follow up video to show you crazy kids it's not leather by pulling a piece apart so you can see the plastic covering flake away! The Fishbone version is definitely not as good 😎

Does the hot toys head go onto the PT body easily?

It's a tight fit but yes! I would suggest pulling out the neck peg and heating it up with a hairdryer before fitting as the DX13 head sculpt is fragile! Have fun 😎

Interesting about the pleather, that was a big selling point for me. Never got one in the end. So the indy jacket was also a thick pleather jacket I guess? Least here it looks good. Have seen alot of people praising and putting down this figure. Glad to hear someone who is not a shill and knows what the hell hes talking about for a change. Good vid mate👍😎
