I went to one of Sarah's Throw n Go events last year and she talked me up on the Relay. The day I lost one in a river from a bad throw off the tee is the day I started to carry backups of some of my discs in my bag. Its now the only double disc in my bag. Absolutely became my favorite disc after the first few throws.

Hokom's shot on 7th is one of my favorite shots I've seen all year - can't believe a righty can throw a forehand into the side of that hill and park it, absolutely stunning

Just checked Prodigy, and those are T2 baskets. T3's don't have the outer vertical chains, only single layer cross-linked.

And the only one with real putts on this card. Maybe Cat, but Sarah and Jessica are sometimes real pain to watch putting. Like hole 6. Sorry ladies, but there is significant place for improvement obviously... Look at Paige, look at Rebeca Cox... I have been told on one clinic: "Don't try to land in the basket. Shoot through the chains, like if it was 1 meter further." One of the best putting advice I have got. Seems that these ladies have not ...

Thanks as always for the awesome coverage!! One suggestion... I'm watching on a full size TV/monitor, and the graphics being located at the very bottom of your screen frame are getting cut off. I can fire up the laptop & sync them so I can see the text, so there is a workaround. It's a safe assumption that lots of fans are watching on large monitors w/ a HDMI connection, and usually those monitors are calibrated just a little differently. The flying disc is just easier to see on the large monitors. Just keep the gfx inside the safe/title area & that would take care of the prob.

I wonder if jump/step putts will ever be banned. I've just watched the 1st hole and already Hokom is 30cm in the air when the disc leaves her hand 😅

@@mattburton4392 It is not "legal" outside the circle either. At least one body part must touch the ground when disc is released. You can never be fully in the air at the time disc leaves your hand.

Hokom's jump putt is like that and someone should call those. I don't care about very close ones, but this is very clear. I am surprised that no one has told her even after the round or in practice round or then she trusts that no one calls those. I don't think those putt styles will be banned, but if no one starts calling clear cases, who is the first one to slam dunk 15 ft putts.

I wonder if that kind of bouncing would happen under Meresmaa’s eyes in Nokia? This kind of rule breaking eats the credibility of the whole sport. If disc golf likes to be a serious sport in the future, these really should be called! Now it just looks like a funny hobby...

No offense to the other ladies, but Paige is in a different league compared to her competition. Her putting is nuts, it's like the others are not even close.

@@blantonodom8499 That is highly exaggerated. Cat's max distance is maybe 40-50 feet less than Paige's. Henna is close to Paige's max distance. Difference is maybe 20 ft less than Paige's and Eveliina throws maybe 30-40 ft less than Paige. Jennife has he distance world record for women and she her gold distance is not far from Paige's. I would say that others are further behind but not 120 ft. If Page throws 450 ft max, 120 less would be 320 ft and you can see the whole card throwing 320 ft drives easily.

Yeah, it would be nice to have even a little bit of competition. This is quite boring. We need a ton of new female players to make it interesting. General level of play in females is not too high.

Is it me or did Cat have bad foot placement on her second shot on hole 1? Feel like her bag was so close.

It isn't very close. You can see the basket and line of throw is from different angle than where the bag is. You can see that it doesn't bother her at all when she throws. I don't like having bag so close even if it is not on the way. It would not impact my foot placement, but might be a mental issue.

UDisc lists Prodigy T2 for both standard layouts for the Preserve, but Paige knows her stuff, I'd trust her over UDisc

Please. 3 putting from 16 feet and blaming sweaty hands. She's supposed to be a pro. Practicing for different conditions and having a plan for the heat is something she should have figured out already. It's going to be the PP show this year at least as far as Cat and PP are concerned.
