@@joseywales148 because I loved my father and brothers and my husband.My husband is still here with me.No matter what they did either being a Veteran or not,they were always my heros and heros in many peoples eyes not just mine,so stop with the negatives, they are my family regardless.My father taught me to be self reliant and to stand up for myself.He paid for my college education,gave me many great lessons on life,as so my brothers did.My uncle Coleman was our so cool uncle.When I use to visit my grandmother she still had his medals and World War 2 uniform and back then when the soldiers came home they could keep thier carbine rifles.They all defended this country with grace and honor.Without these men and women in the Armed Forces,there would be no freedoms that we have and in most cases take for granted.Our family has a rich history.I hope that gives you an insight of what these fantastic men in my life meant to me.
