President JD Mahama on July 03, 2015 paid a historic visit to the Nsawam Medium Security Prisons to familiarise himself with the conditions in the prisons and also interact with the prisoners.

Abdul Mumin Wahab. 3 to 4 years ago we were told all kinds of lies that Mahama was thief and etc etc which you believed and also necessitated you to 2 years ago to write he will be back to the prison. 3 years now this lying NPP government have not produce a single evidence to Mahama being a thief and Mahama is walking round a proud man today. You see after 4yrs your ignorance and hypocracy has been shown. Just last week President Akufo-Addo was in parliament accounting on the number of inmate who are doing diploma and others, he even counted it as his achievement without acknowledging who started it and you clapped for him but here you are four years ago criticizing the initiative.
