Quick video of the President Richard transceiver. Nice rig with useful menu options include echo, swr and talkback capabilites.

Found this really useful as I recently purchased one new, a couple of things you need to do from new is 1. bridge the jumper bit on the circuit board, 2. Change the PD setting using the passcode 1234 3. Change the setting in the menu for UK to "On" and maybe turn the RF Power down so it is compliant with UK Law. Although that said I still think you could lose it as it is apparently illegal in the UK. I would have struggled to find any of this out with videos like this on KZfaq.

Love this radio bought it NIB and cam pre modded with the 11 band from factory it has no PD in the menu. The output and receive is great paired with the Stryker A10MAG antenna have talked around the world! you cant go wrong with this radio

i realize I'm quite off topic but do anybody know a good place to stream newly released movies online ?

Just looking at 1 of these radios for £100, happy with the 50w output, but are they as simple as pressing 'mode' twice for the 11m band? I like the Ronald's also which are 50w+ on Fm, I don't use Am much, and of I did it would be on 1 of my HF multibands. Appreciate any info, cheers, 73's 26-CT-4078, The Mad Hatter NW 🇬🇧

Can a president Richard be set up to be 11 m only

You could leave it set on which ever band you like mate, if you only wanted the uk40fm just leave it tuned into that band. The President Ronald is similar radio but also has 10/12m as standard, but to add the UK40Fm would be a simple press of 1 or 2 buttons,hope this helps 👍
