President Nixon inherited an impossible situation in Vietnam. He did what had to be done. Many people are critical of Nixon and his actions and for them I found a quote: "Mediocre minds usually dismiss anything which reaches beyond their own understanding." Team Trump USA 2024 United We Stand

Nixon always first explained to the people why he’s making certain decisions - then he took charge and made the tough decisions himself. Today, public opinion makes the decisions instead of the President - Why? Because today we have intellectually weak leaders only concerned about their own reelection.
