Waw and bo1 deserved s tier. They both did what cod 4 did and added to it with a different time era. The real footage and people and operations and battles In both games was amazing. And bo4 is underrated as blackout was goated and the zombies was not to bad and bo3 had one good mode and even then it was way to easy and gets boring very fast

Man people gotta put some respec on Cod 1 and 2's names. They're certainly simple compared to later titles but their campaigns are gas and actually try to take their conflicts seriously. As much as a love MW2's multiplayer (the original, not the reboot), I feel like that game was when cod started to treat their conflicts with much less taste. It worked for BO1 cuz that entire game has a sort of campy cold war themeing to it, but most modern cods just became Michael Bay action films.

@@retrogaming5743 fr. They were influential at the time because a lot of shooters at that time were like Quake or Doom, and Cod wanted to be different. It wanted the player to feel like a small cog in the large machine of war, with multiple small campaigns set across many battlefields during WW2, where the player would fight amongst many AI teammates rather than just by themselves. They even included actual documentary footage to try and be somewhat educational. I miss when COD campaigns actually took war seriously and didn't make the protagonist a badass one-man army. BO1 is the only game that did that campy tone right because I never got the impression that it was trying to be serious. Again, as much as I love the OG MW2, that's where the shift really began.

Call of duty 1,2 and 3 on the ps2 are not bad games, they probably didn't age well considering everything, but they did have a very good depiction of the war and the weapons that we're used in the war as well, Band of Brothers to hill 38 is a better WW2 game, but these three deserve to be in atleast C tier for actually putting heart into the gaming industry.

My favorite map is probably high-rise or terminal high-rise was really fun going for trick shots off the crane and doing legend ladder but terminal was more fun for sniping and tricks. Shotting was good and still is since they finally brought back the servers

Did you just put infinite Warfare in d tear but yet put Call of Duty advanced warfare in c tear infinite Warfare campaign was actually pretty good and the zombies game mode was pretty good the only thing slightly bad was the multiplayer.
