The second day of the Annual Convention of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut (ECCT) was a Sunday morning celebration of the Holy Eucharist with Presiding Bishop Michael Curry delivering the sermon. It was held Nov. 20 at the Hartford Convention Center with more than 1600 attending.

Bishop Michael Curry is truly a man of God. Every time I listen to him I am inspired. He always teach about love. He is a blessing to US all.

Bishop Michael Curry delivered a soul-stirring message, the core of love. We needn’t expect anything other than the subject of Love, the common good. Love can change the world, believe it or not! He demonstrates a great sense of humor too and makes the text even more interesting. No one is going to fall asleep, guaranteed. Amen!

The Bishop reminds me of Bishop Tutu. He has a sense of humor. Little did he know that after such a great sermon based on love, the trolls and the royal family will be against the Sussex family. But I know God will never forsake them.

I've just watched the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan with the excellent and full gospel message delivered by Bishop Michael Curry.....Praise the Lord for theirs wonderful message of God's truth just declared to the whole world so publicly! 😀

MultiAlphaZ I never heard about him before till the royal wedding. Now I've been searching for his messages which appears to centres around Love and practical Christianity. I need mercy. May God help me to live the life He expects me to.

James WithChrist ...I was rejoicing in what he said at the royal wedding that might have attracted nearly 2 billion viewers. That message was a Gospel message which even you and I (who do NOT agree with Gay relationships) should be glad it was publicised to such a vast number. Like you (I hope), I worship the One True God who is our Great God and Saviour Jesus Christ. For such a message to come via a royal wedding function is something we can all celebrate. .... And you can be the first to throw a stone at the guy at another venue 🤓.

James WithChrist ... I am sorry you didn't feel excited about the Good News that was spoken within that message that reached so many. You are correct in saying the Bible says that we love because He first loved us. But, for a message that was spoken with such charisma to a serous and unexpecting audience made up of all sorts of people this is something that we CAN be thankful to God, in an age where we don't receive that message that well across out airwaves. I saw the likes of Elton John looking none too impressed. As a Born again believer in Jesus Christ, I am glad that a message which did get quite a bit right was aired in such a way to do many. God can hold him accountable for his own errors in word, thought or deed. I will have it answer to God for my idle thoughts, words or deeds, as will we all. Let's rejoice that such a message DID get out that said "God is Love" and spoke about the cross of Jesus our Saviour. I was also impressed to hear the first speaker, a much more sober serious clerical man, actually say that marriage is between a man and a woman. We have much to rejoice in for the many Good things said in those speeches.

James WithChrist . And, in fact, it would also be OK to say " if you don't know love you don't know God." As that doesn't therefore imply that you can know before or without knowing God We need to be careful not to be so pinnickerty as to destroy some hope and some joy in some Truth that is shared. Of course, we need the Whole Truth. But if I read my Bible right, there will be a falling away from truth in the last days.....abd this has been happening already for quite a few years now.

The Revolutionary 'Love' preacher hit homerun. some he mentioned: 1. "love is strong as death." 2. "we must discover the power of love." 3. "don't underestimate it and don't even over sentimentalize it." 4. "there is power in love, when someone cares for you you know it" 5. "the source of love is God. we must love one another because love is God and those who are born of God knows God and those who do not love do not know God." 6. "there is power in love to show us the way to live." 7. "you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, all your strength. this is the first commandment." 8. "the 2nd commandment is love your neighbor as yourself." 9. "love yourself. love has power to transform." 10. "love is a balm in the world. Love is not selfish and self centered." 11. in other words we can be like Jesus. He loved the world. "love is sacrificial and redemptive." 12. "what take place when love is the way, no child will go to bed hungry in this world ever again. The earth will be a sanctuary."
