They toured together in 54, known as th million dollar quartet, they were all into taking amphetamines, & Elvis first started, Cash & Jerry Lee were known alcoholics coke addicts, don't think E got into those .

Saw this show at curve theatre in Leicester in 2018..it was as if we had been transported back to 1956..what an amazing show...

That's not true, you're just repeating something John Lennon said. When I toured Sun studios they attribute the first rock and roll record to Howlin' Wolf and the first rock and roll record by a white guy was Ooby Dooby by Roy Orbison.

The killer finally got invited tonthe Opry after 20 years. Theyvtreated him bad, ignored him when he got to Nashville did not think he was sqaut. He was told play 3 songs only country and get off. It was 1973 I believe. That crazy s.o.b. played for over an hour, asked an opry puano player a female who treated gim nice to play with him. No comercial breaks for advertising, and he played rick n roll also. At the end he said My name is Jerry Lee Lewis and I am a Rock n Roll Mfer!!!! There is only one king of rock n roll. Thats the Killer!

Yes he was the bomb. Jerry Lee Lewis kept it real throughout his career . He never forgot his rock n roll roots, never dabbled in other more populist genre of music. Elvis pretty much abandoned his early raw rock tunes by the 70s. Not so the killer!
