BJP Mandal Cell Leaders Condemn NPP Actions, Demand Justice for Tumi Gangkak
Liromoba, July 9, 2024 - In a strongly worded press conference today, the Chairman (Yikar Yomcha) and Vice Chairman(Minba Raksap) of the BJP Mandal Cell Action Committee in Liromoba criticized the ruling NPP party for alleged unfair practices related to the transfer and posting of officers, including teachers and for obstructing ongoing projects initiated by BJP supporters.
Unjust Transfers and Humiliation:
The BJP leaders accused the NPP party of systematically transferring and posting BJP well-wishers, claiming these actions were intended to undermine their supporters. “These transfers are not just administrative actions; they are deliberate attempts to humiliate those who have been loyal to the BJP,” said the Chairman.
Cancellation of Projects:
They also condemned the NPP for cancelling several ongoing projects initiated by the BJP. “These projects, which were progressing smoothly, have been abruptly halted and their nature changed, causing significant delays and inefficiencies,” added the Vice Chairman. The leaders demanded that these projects be allowed to continue as originally planned.
Targeting of Senior Officers:
The press conference highlighted allegations that the NPP had lodged complaints against senior and sincere officers who were known BJP well-wishers. These complaints, taken up with the DC office, have created an atmosphere of fear and demoralization among officers. “The NPP’s actions are a blatant misuse of power, aimed at sidelining competent officers for political gains,” the leaders stated.
Justice for Tumi Gangkak:
A major focus of the conference was the mysterious death of Tumi Gangkak. The BJP leaders accused the NPP of campaigning against a fair investigation into the case. “The roots of this case need to be uncovered. We demand immediate justice for Tumi Gangkak, and an impartial investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death,” urged the Vice Chairman.
Appeal to Higher Authorities:
In conclusion, the Chairman and Vice Chairman called upon the higher authorities of the BJP to take cognizance of these issues and initiate appropriate actions. “We seek the intervention of our party’s higher authorities to address these grievances and restore justice and fairness in the administrative processes,” they appealed.
