The conference featured live testimonies by several ZAKA volunteers who were the first civilian emergency responders to the horrific events of October 7th, 2023 in the Gaza border communities.
These brave individuals shared their firsthand experiences on record with the global media.
“It is beyond human comprehension, and the soul cannot contain it… This is a murder of such brutality that we’ve only heard of in Holocaust stories, and we told ourselves it would never happen again… Our equipment for collecting and handling corpses, which lasted us for 4 years, was used up in just 3 days… Our warehouses were emptied.”

ZAKA is a model that USA FEMA should adopt as the ideal! I've always disliked Marvel giving us heros because we haven't seen a lot of heroes in this world lately. Now, I see an entire country of 9 million people... EVERY ONE A HERO!

I have a hard time breathing as I’m crying and listening to his story. It’s so heavy and painful to carry this alone. We all have to help them to go through this trauma. My heart just shattered and can’t imagine if I were in their positions. 😭💔

I have been praying for you, for all of you, who have to do this awefully amazing work honouring the dead of both sides.
