Here is another full episode of Press Your Luck. This is episode 463 as recorded from GSN in DVD quality. This is the 4th of July episode from 1985 wherein Peter is decked out in a red white and blue bow tie. Again I am sorry it took so long to upload but thank you for your continued patience. ENJOY!!!

I just find it funny when you see any old show not filmed live (like What's My Line, SNL, Tonight Show) that they have to pretend it's the holiday they say it is. It's probably not even Memorial Day when they're filming, but they're celebrating the 4th of July. I was at a filming once for the Jenny Jones show, one full episode and the "after" of a makeover show, so I know what it's like when there's a delay in filming and airing, but we weren't trying to pretend it's May in April.

Julie should have passed when she had $2970 in round one. Going for it cost her the money she had when she landed on that Whammy. All in all, this is my favorite classic game show. My top 3 1980s game shows are as follows: (1) Press Your Luck (2) Scrabble (3) The $25,000 Pyramid Edit: Julie made the *SAME* mistake in round two when she had $4370. She should have passed, but she didn't...and what happened? You guessed it. Another Whammy took her money.

The second Whammy in Round 1 was a mistake because most players do not exceed $2,000, let alone $2,500, in Round 1. Being on the same level as Jim and playing her spins second for Round 2 would not have been a bad position. As for the Whammy in Round 2, because both Jim and Patricia each had at least six spins and at least $1,000 to start the round, Julie was compelled to press her luck because $4,370 is beatable within four or five spins, with an average payout of about $1,500 per spin in Round 2. Her second Whammy in Round 1 forced this decision to press her luck in Round 2 with $4,370 and only one spin.
