Mine is so hard to start, I have to use starting fluid. Fuel to the right, choke left, pull twice, no start. Choke to the right, pull twice, no start. Choke to left, pull twice, no start. Squirt starting fluid into carburetor, pull once, presto!

Check the plug yes, but also check to see if it's actually sparking.

Mine is super hard to start! Very frustrating!!! When it wants to run, it runs great. Makes me wish it was electric!

After all... removed float bowl, it was clean. Drained tank. Ran a tip cleaner up the suction tube, looked like hot glue residue came out. Reassembled. Started on second pull. Hooked up water. Started right up. I squeezed the trigger, engine sped up. Works great. Restarted several times.... All good.

These are all the basics. If I had no idea what the basics were I would have searched for the basics of why it won't start, why it won't stay running. Even though it has less than 10 hours on it since last Fall.

90% of the time it'll be a gummed up carb from leaving ethanol fuel in the tank for an extended period after using it and not running it dry.

I bought a wolf. So unreliable. Works for a wild then just stops. Useless really. Brand new as well.

That model is a POS ... I realized the problem with it today , crappy design... Cold start , cranks 2nd pull ... After engine is running temp or ran for awhile , 100 pulls & no start ... What happens is the gas was almost at a boiling point & causes it to vapor lock ... The Simpsons with the Honda motors start every time you pull it ... I wouldn't recommend buying this model on the video...If you do , you'll regret it just as I did ....
