My dad like to clean our roof, he brush the roof. In my head thinking, OMG cleaning the roof is the most useless thing to do. And here I am watching these. LoL

Great job I love roof cleans especially on bugalows can I ask why do some people start at the bottom and spray up the roof rsther than stsrt st the top and let it run down or does it not matter

Ha haha well i ask my Mrs to give me a number three down the side and round the back and a little of the top, It was a right mess, so had to get here to cut it all off number three all over in the end 🤣

Take it the roof cleaning was an after thought of the customers, cause now you had to clean out / off guttering,walls ect again. The results looked like new 👏👏👏 property reminded me of places I've seen in Ireland but I know it's Bournemouth area.

Yup your spot on, rinsing down the walls dint take too long at all after the roof was cleaned 👍 this property was on the outside of bournemouth around the new forrest area

Fantastic videos Ricky. Love your setup. I know we probably only see the good stuff, but do you ever fail to get rid of some staining on surfaces?? Let's say black spots on concrete paths can be a devil to remove. Any feedback welcome. Kind regards, Paudie Lyons

How does the pole handle? I have a really heavy telecopic pressure cleaning pole which I HATE using. Kicks like bronco and puts the you know whats up me every time I use it. Looks easy so I guess it must be very balanced when its turned on? Also, assume that's not SH, just water?

Well I would of thought that would made more sense to have done the roof first !! I was always taught to start at the top then move down etc !! 🇬🇧👏

I was contracted to do all the decking, wall and other jobs first they where pleased with what id done then asked for a quote for the roof so returned a couple of weeks later to do it

Cheers cant add links to comments but all you need is a window ckeaning pole with thermoplastic hose , or you can buy direct from rutland pumps for and 500

Have you got a video of how you would tackle a semi with the neighbour having a conservatory..so you don’t blast the Moss all over the neighbors gardens and glass roof..

Yes there is i was only asked to clean the decking and walls, but the owner was very happy with the work done so i got asked to quote for the roof after i was done 👍Cheers, hope your well and hope the lad started up 👍

Yeah join the party loads of people doing jetwashing in bournemouth now from roofers, window cleaners ,gardeners most off jetwashing services now 👍 loads of work out there, but it's just getting it 😀

Top to bottom? I would have done the roof first then the walls and then the floors. Maybe they liked what they saw you do on the floors and went for the roof? Won't the algae go all over the walls and floors? Ok, now I see the gutters are catching everything. I love love love your videos.

HI ya yeah i done all the ground works first , the owner was very happy with the work and then asked about the roof to be cleaned hence why i done it that way , cheers fro watching

So what would you do for shingle roofing? can’t use pressure, it’ll damage it but if there’s like actual clobs of moss instead of algae that cleaner will just knock off. What would you do for getting that off.

Hi not all roofs can be pressure cleaned, I wouldn't take the job on at all woukdht he intrested in it at all. It could be softwashed and a biocide used, but would take months for all the moss to be killed off.

Some companies will use a brush to remove the moss for you, not sure about the algae though!

@@nicmac6930 there's no set charge as every job different but a guide to earn a fair wage would be around £80 to £120 a hour

Hey Ricky I love your videos! What video creating platform do you use to make them? Do they take long to do? Also how do you get those aerial shots is it a Go Pro and some sort of extended tripod? I do inflatables Hires and Events so would like to start doing the same sort of thing...

Hi ya i use final cut pro software to edit the videos , each video takes me about 2 or 3 hours to edit , i use osmo action cameras , pretty much the same as go pros
