We always do this. So nice not having to line up for coffee/breakfast in a morning. There is a hot egg dish and a breakfast meat (bacon/sausage) that changes daily as well as anything else you could imagine. As well as regular tea/coffee, juice, there is a latte/espresso/cappuccino/hot milk machine, and you can access this all day. Also, the pop, bottled water, fruit, snacks are available all day not just the listed hours. It's nice to take a break or just pop in to grab some water for your room. The hot and cold canapes and desserts in the evening also change daily and are gourmet level. They are enough for me to serve as a light supper. The complimentary cocktails are top drawer liquor and wines. The service is impeccable. It is also about the concierge service. They are so kind and helpful with anything you need from show tickets to reserving a lounge by the pool or transportation. It has spoiled us for staying anywhere else. Going back in July and can't wait!

I used to work in Hotel management, a place to offer breakfast saves so much money in room comps. People call up complaining about small things like noise, towels, or water pressure first thing you can offer is free breakfast. Your cost is minimal because you have to set up breakfast anyway, and people are happy. If you don't have breakfast you have to offer money off the room. Give management something to offer.

I must admit that I always try to do this upgrade and love it. As you say, the breakfast is much more than Continental. The happy hour is tons of fun and the evening food could be a (light) meal. Throughout the day there are always non-alcoholic drinks for free, free bottles of water and snacks. It is a great place to go and sit and enjoy a delicious coffee or tea and some baked goods or snacks throughout the day. I think it's totally worth it. In the mornings, after I have a leisurely breakfast and pass the people in line at the Starbucks... that's when I really value the lounge. The concierges on this floor will also happily make reservations and book show tickets for you. Whenever I'm there I see at least one guest inquiring about upgrading to lounge access after the fact. The last time I saw this happen, the guest was told that unfortunately the lounge access was unavailable for one of their days. He had two small kids with him, and I think he was wearying of waiting in line to get them breakfast/snacks/food.

This is like the Grand Hyatt club level rooms. Free daily breakfast and evening snacks. It’s WELL worth it..

Reminds me of getting access to the M Lounge at higher-end Marriott hotels if you have Plat or higher status. Complimentary hot breakfast, a usually-decent dinner/social hour menu, and a good respite from the rest of the hotel.

Been there, did that, loved it, although it was at the tail end of covid so they hadn't brought back the full hot breakfast yet, looks yummy, completely worth it!

You present this as if it is new, but it has been around for a very long time. The Westgate also offers a lounge upgrade and Aria also has a lounge level for people staying in suites.

It’s best if this were comped or if it came with whatever high-tier status you have. Not worth the $150 upcharge.

I've done the lounge. When they say unlimited drinks during the specified time that's exactly what they mean! We got so drunk every night, could barely make it on the strip 😂. That's why it was worth it for a couple of alcoholics.

Can confirm this vid! Hubby and I are avid Palazzo/Venetian regulars. While, yes, STAY here. It’s so spacious, clean, luxurious… this is a big/unnecessary expense.❤

Too many food options inside Venetian alone. Why would you ground yourself to this small room for $150 a day ? I can eat normal food for that price

Basically looks like what you’d get at the grand luxe breakfast buffet (which I highly recommend) for a fraction of the price. I’d skip it.
