As a doctor it always freaks me out how badly people do CPR on screen. Maybe this could be used as a massive stage to show or remind people how to actually conduct the most efficient CPR. But instead we have… this. Whatever this is. Quick reminder : cardiac arrest should be diagnosed in less than 10 sec and is defined by a person being unresponsive and not breathing (bend over the person and try to feel and ear the air, and try to see if the chest is rising). If not breathing, start ample compressions on the lower part of the sternum at about 100-120 bpm (« staying alive » is the song to remember) while another whiteness calls 112. 30 compressions for 2 breaths in an adult. If a defibrillator is around, place the pads while still compressing. Stop compressing only for rythm analysis and shocking. Restart compressing right after the shock has been delivered (do not wait for anything to happen after the shock). And always remember : in doubt, it’s always better to perform CPR for someone who doesn’t need it than to wait.

@@Kez_abi The Resus Council advised that during the peak of COVID-19, it was always hands-only CPR. At the time of writing this comment, you can use mouth to mouth as well, but alot of people don't feel comfortable, and its not required anymore, nor that effective.

yeah, that's myles. I can't remember but im pretty sure he had a thing with Preston and wanted to beat him in the race to prove Preston isn't the fastest runner in the school or smth like that. havent watched it in a while though
