But that's the nature of most British panel shows, and Buzzcocks was well known for being one of the most hilariously brutal ones. He was an idiot expecting to come on there and be treated like some kind of precious princess who couldn't be made fun of. He met his wife on Big Brother FFS. But airheads like him have no sense of humour about themselves.

But Simon's quick-witted off the script banter was present in every single episode , and always funnier than the scripted. All the post-it notes was just a visual joke to imply there were lots of idiotic things in the book. There's no way they would have done that otherwise. In all honesty, I really can't make too much of a villain out of him. It must take a lot of courage to get in front of an audience, on TV and have immensely witty people make fun of you. I think it must take a rather large amount of humilitiy that a lot of people don't have - especially if they have been rocketed to stardom and mass attention by a show like big brother. I kinda wish more came of that audience member after the show. I looked it up, in 2007 he had an interview with the BBC but beyond that nothing. His name is "Ed Seymour"
