Mooketsi Nthite Pretoria looks amazing! Great Victorian architecture, could mistake for the nice old parts of London or Berlin. Wonderful city, i hope to visit. Strange place really, old 19th century European city in the middle of Southern Africa.

Hi, I'm from Venezuela, I don't know anything about SouthAfrica, specially Petroria. I have a friend from Pretoria that I made on Facebook. I went here to learn a few, and I like the video. I imagined than SA was desert. I wanna say sorry for my unacknowledged. Pretoria is a great city =D I could see SA is really multiethnic. This is wonderfull, because on Venezuela has many coloreds people too. I wanna trip to there someday. Thank for share yours videos, and sorry for my english.

1985 we walked the streets on Christmas evening, busses ran till 12, it was a beautiful and safe city. 2016, mugged twice Hi jacked almost ones, dirt devour the streets, poverty and crime rule. I live one side of the city and my mother the other side. I refuse to through it, I rather drive 10km around. No it is not the safe city it use to be. The buildings has been neglected, no you waste your time and money to go there, properly loos your money if you go. It saddens me.

Im not the one that rape steel or murder, Im not the one that demolishing school and universities. Though!! Im the one that created 40 jobs, permanent for 8 years now. I provide free housing for 6 of them. I try to learn them skills, work as well as life skills. I tought them not to be arrogant but to listen and learn. I tought them to teach there children to be wiser so they dont make the same life mistakes as there parents. All of these guys I know them personally, and my door is always open for help oradvise. All of them black people. And you dare to call no me inhuman. Tell me, what are you doing for your own people in your own country beside to stirr them with arrogance. A lovely stunning capital city. This one is full of city slickers, kidnapping, raping and murdering each other. Many of these citizens are parents. Could the thousands of civil servants in Pretoria, start using the phrase "Civic Duties?" In South Africa, a future of success needs law-abiding streets, adults and communities. If job creation and education were a priority for the government, the youth would smile. Today what is needed, is public discussion about conscientious, ethical and law-abiding behavior. Anarchy and chaos are no friend of South Africa. Let's discuss lawlessness in this capital and see if the youth can get the adults to follow simple traffic laws, to introduce law-abiding streets and adults to South Africa's Executive Government capital. Successful civil servants should be spared the freewheeling phenomenon, as well as the city slicker syndrome.The future of South Africa depends upon law-abiding civil servants.

Actually, you are right, South Africa is going right back to where it came from...the Stone Age, no water, no electricity, sewage down the streets, squattercamps bigger than the actual city's, crime like you won't believe, no municiple services, no tarred roads, polluted countryside and rivers, the National Flower now the Plastic bag and the National Animal the Mozambiquecan Cane Rat, a bankrupted Country...and you say justice is served...well done, you just Africanise South Africa.

I'm from here. Pretoria is not that violent for a South African city. Soweto is a different story. You just have to realize where you are, because it is Africa mate. Crime in California doesn't compare to crime in SA, it is still a great city and a nice place to live. It's safe, you just have to be smart.
