This must have been a 1976-1979 re-recording for Dominion Entertainment, which purchased the labels Gusto, ERA, and K-Tel, and re-recorded many oldies by still-living performers in the 1970's. Many of these re-recorded oldies appeared on CD's by the Canadian-located Madacy label in the 1990's.

Read on below: Klamath Falls Herald and News: Tuesday, December 18th, 2012/Letters To The Editor Pop culture distorted, misrepresented the ’50s Marlen McGee’s Dec. 10 Herald and News letter laments the 1950s as being so wonderful. Really? No decade has been more distorted and misrepresented by pop culture “American Graffiti” feel-good fluff as the 1950s: burger shops, drive ins, roller skates, bobby socks and poodle skirts (whatever those were?), including plastic hula hoops. I was born in Klamath Falls in November 1956 and I faintly remember hula hoops being twirled by giggly girls. Remember the Korean War (1950-1953)? The World Book Encyclopedia states: “The Korean War was one of the bloodiest in history. About a million South Korean civilians were killed, and millions more made homeless. More than 560,000 United Nations and South Korean troops and about 1.6 million Communist troops, both North Korean and Red Chinese, were killed or wounded or reported missing in action.” Calling the Korean War a police action is a misnomer. The Hungarian Uprising in Budapest commenced in 1956 against Soviet rule. Bear in mind the Nazis occupied Hungary in 1944 a dozen years earlier during World War II (1939-1945). The SS and Gestapo rounded up hundreds of thousands of Hungarian and Carpathian Jews, including Gypsies (Roma), who were deported by railroad to *Auschwitz, Poland for mass killing. The Nazis were assisted by Fascist collaborators in Hungary’s Arrow Cross, and likewise, the anti-Semitic Iron Guard in Romania, also Holocaust perpetrators. In 1956, Smith and Wesson introduced the K-Frame .357 Combat Magnum revolver. Also.....I endorse the 2008 1 Hour You Tube online video: "The Soviet Story" which depicts both Nazi SS and Soviet NKVD collaboration prior to June 22, 1941. In August 1939 both Hitler and Stalin entered into the Ribbentrop/ Molotov or "Nazi/Soviet Pact." Poland was thus partitioned by both the Nazis and Communists leading to a brutal murderous reign of terror! Americans today need to be educated and reminded of this, and reject the so called "feely good fluff and denial" they have been brainwashed, indoctrinated, desensitized, and dumbed down to! This is where reality shatters illusion! No, the 1950's must be examined in the context of World War II (1939-1945), the Korean War (1950-1953), and even the Vietnam War (1961-1975). I would just love to stand on stage during one of these phony 50's sock hops and remind those present of a U.S. Army or Marine Corp infantryman with his .30 caliber Garand M-1 rifle in Korea hunkered down in a frozen snow bank while dug into a fox hole awaiting a North Korean or Red Chinese onslaught!
